A grid game is similar to chess. it works like this-

A is weak to W which is weak to T which is weak to S which is weak to E which is weak to A, get where im going at? put A on the front lines directly at E which will inject extra damage. now person B's E is dead. I dont know f this kind of games will get popular but ive constructed an instruction manual if you ever play one,Most likley by me.
