It is the year 2132. A strange plague has surfaced in New York, and has turned many citizens into zombies. You are part of an elite Delta Force squad, sent to eliminate the undead threat. Unfortunately, your helicopter crashed over New York and you have become separated from the rest of your squad. You have to survive. The future of the human race depends on it.
You run to the source of the calling, and find a civilian cornered by a group of zombies. He is madly slashing at them with a kitchen knife, when you hear a gunshot and one of them falls down dead. You turn and look around to see who fired. There are two more gunshots, and the remaining two zombies fall to the ground with half their heads blown off. The civilian threatens you with his knife and warns you not to come any closer.
Slipping unnoticed into the hotel, you walk past the deserted reception area, and into a small room, which appears to be a store cupboard. Suddenly, a hand reaches out and drags you inside.

The man appears calmer now. Suddenly, there is a burst of noise. You hear yelling, the man slashes at you with his knife, and you hear a gunshot as a cloud of dust erupts by your feet. Fortunately, the sniper and the civilian both missed. You dive into cover, and notice a scope for your gun lying beside you. (if you choose to pick the scope up, add "w/scope" to weapon).
As you yank the creature's arm off, you notice that it is made of metal and has the letters A.Z.C.P.L engraved on it - the Anti Zombie Civilian Protection League. You call out in case one of their members is nearby to offer help. Just as you call out, a man appears, waving a baseball bat at you and ordering you to follow him.

You and the survivor go to a nearby park, where he tells you about himself. Just as you are getting bored, zombies ambush you and drag the survivor off. you notice that he left his laser magnum behind.
The man leads you to the roof of the building. There is a sniper looking through his scope. The sniper turns and sees you, throws you a pair of binoculars (add "binoculars" to inventory) and asks you if you could spot targets for him. You walk to the edge of the rooftop, look through the binoculars, and can immediately see a civilian with a knife cornered by 3 zombies. The sniper fires three shots and the zombies are dead. You see another figure down there, and immediately recognise him as one of your lost squad. You hear yelling, the civilian slashes at your squad member with his knife, and the sniper fires. Your squad member dives out of sight and you aim your assault rifle at the sniper.

Look around the room and stay away from windows or open parts of the wall on that side.
The sniper agrees, and he and his friend with the baseball bat sprint down to ground level to find your squad member. You follow. Upon arrival at the site, you find your squad member, pinning the knife-wielding civilian on the floor. They both appear to be unhurt.

After attaching the scope to your gun, you scout out the area, but the sniper appears to be gone. Suddenly, the civilian lunges at you with his knife. You dodge, and throw him to the floor. His knife falls from his hand. You hear a noise behind you, and turn to see a man with a baseball bat, and a sniper in full combat armour. Another figure appears behind them, and you immediately recognise him as Rico, one of your squad members.
