When you land your ship converts to a command center where you manage your colony. You then would do things such as:
Creator: You land on the planet Vork, it is green and foggy. You set up your command center. There is a strange red rock around your command center. And some purple liquid in a pond. Player one: I send 3 mine-bots to mine the rock around my command center. Creator: You get 10 rock. You can now build a rock house for 5 rock. Player one: I collect the purple liquid. Creator: You get 5 UNI. liquid Player one: i pour the liquid on the rocks. Creator: The rocks turns soft and mushy. -5 rock +5 clay

I give one lance to my other mining bot and equip my other one. Then I cautiously go into the cave with my robots. Once I get back the robot I lost, I get the heck out of there.

You and your bots bump into something, and it picks you up and throws you out of the cave. It then steps out. It looks like a giant ogre with green crystals for eyes and the bot straped to its back.

The stick changes color to red when you press the button, the other 2 make it green, and back to blue. The creatures are half the size of humans with hunched backs and red skin. They have big horns on there head and a tail with a spike. They also have no ears, but hear through there eyes(somehow)

You take the items to your center and the 2 creatures to the houses. The robots dont find anything of value in the cave.

I go back to my base with my robots. Then I get 2 of them to go harvest rocks. The third one I repair if it's damaged and then I use my green crystal on him and send him to mine metal.
