This game is based on the inheritance series (eragon, eldest, brisingr, and the new one coming out in september) it will not follow the storyline or anything like that. this is like Eragon was never born and i will choose people who join to be dragon riders.

On the continent, Alagesia, the king that rules, Galbatorix, is the last known dragon rider alive.Him and other corrupt dragon riders attacked the others if they weren't killed in battle, they were either torured, executed, and other things. Every dragon rider was killed except for Galbatorix, who took the last 3 dragon eggs. Now, there is a rebel group called the Varden, who have acquired maps of secret tunnels into Galbatorix's castle. when they attempted to get the dragon eggs, things went wrong and they only got one, a blue female egg. After the shade(a shade is a very powerful sorcerer who has summoned a powerful spirit that overwhelmes them), Durza, attacks the three elves escorting the egg, two are killed, but one, Arya, who is taken to be tortured for information. Arya magically transports the egg somewhere, nobody but her knows where, and this is where the story begins.

Races:

Elves:were a race of beings who migrated to Alagaësia from Alalëa in the distant past; around 5217 AC. Humanoid in appearance, they had noticeably angular features, slanting eyebrows, and pointed ears; they were generally tall and slim, and were, according to legend, the fairest people of the land, partly because of physical transformation caused by the dragons' influence on them (and were thus called the Fair Folk). Most elves were greatly gifted with magic than the other races. Elves are faster, and stronger than humans, and never eat meat.

Humans:The human culture was agrarian; most humans were farmers and peasants, and their technology was fairly primitive. Different regions had different customs and traditions. Some areas, such as Kuasta, were so isolated by the Spine that their inhabitants were considered somewhat odd by people from more urban areas. All humans seemed to have believed in some sort of fate or divine influence; most were superstitious. Several possessed magical or psychic powers; some were wizards or witches, others became Dragon Riders. The humans have always hated Urgals.

Urgal:Urgals were roughly humanoid in appearance, with grayish skin, bowed legs, and thick arms. They had yellow, piggish eyes, and a pair of long, twisted horns protruding from above their ears. Urgals could be anywhere from six to nine feet tall; an Urgal's height depended on its species. A curious similarity between Urgals and Dwarves is that they have six or seven fingers on the hands and feet (although in the case Urgals, they have claws instead of nails), a fact that Eragon notices with enthusiasm, but the Urgals believe it is lack of creativity of the gods than any kinship. In the film, they appeared as primitive humans. They were fanatics of war, and in some cases they tortured humans merely for fun. Their strength and ruthlessness is matched only by the twisted evil of Galbatorix. On average, they had a similar lifespan to humans.

Dwarves were one of the only races native to Alagaësia. Known as lovers of rock and stone, dwarves had a long lifespan and often lived in large, underground cities in the Beor Mountains. One of the most famous dwarf cities was located in Farthen Dûr ("Our Father" in dwarvish). The city itself, Tronjheim, was the secret hiding place of the Varden up until the Battle under Farthen Dûr.
