I liked the scream series but only because they were funny. they werent in any way scary and i dont see how they fall under the horror genre

zombieland. I know it's not that much of a horror but scared me enough to make me jump at some parts. but it was mostly comedy.

Those are Comedy Horror. So I guess they still count. I liked The Shining. The 1980 version. Not the horrible remake that came out in 1994.

I liked I Am Legend also. It was great. Will Smith did a great job playing in that movie.

For me The Exorcists is tops.

I also like some of the original slasher flicks, like the original Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
