This is basically the same game as the one that has been running for quite a while, but it will be all official material, no house rules or non-rulebook sources of any kind, and I may enforce mandatory characters if things get too far out of hand (TRF has said that things were getting carried away in the other game). I also want chracter and OOC dialouge to be better managed, in other words don't fill this game up with a bunch of meaningless chatter (If all you want to do is talk about something, do it in the other game). New players are always welcome, and in fact encouraged, even if you don't own any of the books or know any of the rules. If any new players want to join, see the other game for rules, give me a race and class, and I will take care of the rest. As soon as at least 4 characters are made, this game will begin. The module I am using is a DCC, known as "The Black Pearl" (and I don't mean the ship from Pirates of the Caribbean)
Because there's an archer several feet away who has what's probably a composite bow. I'll be a pincushion long before I reach him, even if I'm running.
Hey if you guys are interested I've been wanting to try something, just as an experiment for a D&D game. And I thought since I can't really start up the other one now would be as good a time as any to try it.
Well I got the idea from a combo of Dorkness Rising and a video from that Tetsubo guy. I will make it after I get some chow and get the specifics down.
I think that's a bad idea. You can barely DM the game that's already going on, let alone another. Speaking of which, are you saying you are quitting the other game?
No, he just can't run the main game right now. he can only be here on the weekends. He will run the experimental game until he can run the main one and possibly run both at once depending on how it turns out.
Group A, and I still think it's a bad idea. He's biting off a little more than he can chew, and he'll choke on it later. I might be able to run the other party, but I would have to dig up a module for level 12s, which I don't have right now.
