This is basically the same game as the one that has been running for quite a while, but it will be all official material, no house rules or non-rulebook sources of any kind, and I may enforce mandatory characters if things get too far out of hand (TRF has said that things were getting carried away in the other game). I also want chracter and OOC dialouge to be better managed, in other words don't fill this game up with a bunch of meaningless chatter (If all you want to do is talk about something, do it in the other game). New players are always welcome, and in fact encouraged, even if you don't own any of the books or know any of the rules. If any new players want to join, see the other game for rules, give me a race and class, and I will take care of the rest. As soon as at least 4 characters are made, this game will begin. The module I am using is a DCC, known as "The Black Pearl" (and I don't mean the ship from Pirates of the Caribbean)
"Orcs and G-goblins... Please help us! Follow me!"
"I won't follow until I know where you're leading me-and calm down, if you would. As far as I can tell, there is no immediate threat here. The orcs and goblins seem to have left, and there's no apparent reason they would attack you further, since they have obviously taken or destroyed everything of value here...unless you know something you're not telling me?"
She takes you by the hand and runs off through the streets, almost tripping over a body or two. Fistbeard follows. She runs into an old, worn out house that seems like it has seen rough times, but nothing from the attacks. Inside, there is an old man with his nose in a rather ancient book. OM: "Melissa, is that you?" He looks up at her. OM: "What happened to Ian!?!?!? I will get the potions!!!" He runs into the back and comes back with a vial and pours it down his throat and he wakes up. OM: "Who are the outsiders?"
Melissa and Ian...excellent fantasy-medieval names, Monsieur Dragon. xP
"Cassio Castillo," he introduces himself with a winning smile. He steps forward and, sheathing the two-bladed sword, extends his hand to shake. Ha, poor fellow. I get the feeling that this old man will not be his biggest fan.
I edon't know how y'all do it, I decided to buy a higher-shelf conditioner for once, and I had no idea how to activate the supposed 'salon pump'. After 10 minutes of nearly breaking the bottle, it finally pops up and then the head falls off. -.-*
He seems to examine you longer. R: "You two should do. There is a Hobgoblin that has taken charge of Orcs and Goblins. If you can kill him and bring proof, I am sure everybody in the village will reward you with what they can. Could you take this mantle as defender of these people?"

"Hm? Oh, I've never been a big fan of mantles," Cassio says, already reverting to his normal wise-*** self. "They always drag on the ground and get dirty, it's a pain. Do you, perchance, have a doubletas defender of these people that I could take? I've always found those to be rather stylish, myself."
