In a nutshell, a thousand years ago some mythical beings broke their world's most sacred laws. They were banished to a dimensional prison. During that time they mastered the power of the elements-flame, aqua, miner, lunar, solar, freeze, and nature- which were previously known only by the most powerful mages. They've escaped, and are bent on revenge. The humans have already been wiped out, and every living thing left is about to be thrown into this war.

"Come with me," He says, leading you down a hallway. You seem to be going underground. Finally, at the end of the hall you come to a door. It's locked, but you can't see a lock or a keyhole. There's a large brass disk on the door. The solider blasts fire at the disk, and the door opens. You're in an office. Maps and charts cover almost every available surface. The solider motions you to sit.
"Now, tell me everything that happened," He says with a serious expression on his face.

The solider listens intently to your story. When you're done, he look you directly in the eye.
"Under any other circumstance I would think you we-" His statement is cut short as the minotaur from before crashes into the room. Now you're cornered between a deathmonger agent and a pheonixrunner solider with no way out... well, maybe one way.

The trip to the mainland was more or less uneventful- except for when an angry kraken held the boat for ransom, but that's not important. You quickly find a pair of deathmongers. They don't notice you and you get rid of them quickly. The third, however, is not that easy. It's of your own kind, and of the freeze element. It's constantly blasting you with snow, and you're chilled to the bone. Suddenly you see what must be the world's biggest pine cone right above it.

You rush in after the minotaur just in time to see a strange creature somehow dissapear. This sends the minotaur into a rage. It picks up a solider from across the room and throws him against the wall. I suggest you run. The strange amulet warps you again, this time to the middle of the dessert. Then it warps you to the bottom of the sea, then fifty feet in the air... it's just going out of control. finally it stops at the edge of a cliff. You manage to make it up the pinecone with a few cuts and scratches and bite off the stem of the pincecone. It falls on the direwolf, finishing it. Luckily you managed to jump off before it hit the ground. Taking his helmet as well you return to the pheonixrunner camp. The solider you talked to earlier looks surprised.
