you find some vines and some strong leaves for fashoning a sling, its rough and youll have to practice to be able to hit anything for the axe it took you almost 3 hours to find and shape a rock you can nicely fashon to a srong stick but you get it, it wont last foresver though (you gain 5 exp for the shelter, 10 from the sling, and 7 for the axe 22 exp in total) you can add 5 wood to your resouces

you get good with the sling, still not a master but you can, sort of aim? lol and the only animals you could find were small rodents and you couldent catch them but you did find some wild plants that you pulled up, you think there carrots, you could eat them but theres no wanter to wash them off with your axe wile getting wood and putting marks in the trees to tell ppl were to go the vines holding the axe head on kept getting loose so you had to retie it over 7 times and the rock is also getting dull its almost blunt (practicing with the sling gets you 5, hunting get you 5, with a total of 10 exp)

you manage to dig up a small hole in your cam but its really hard without a shovel (witch would be rly hard to make and you dont have tool craftin) but about 30 min away from your cam you find a small stream it probably leads to a river, that would lead to a lake... and sivilivation, but not now, you could fasion your shirt and hold some water in it but if you didnt get back in time there would be non left, that and the water would seep through the dirt your gonna have to line it with clay for it to work, and if not clay leaves and vines tightly woven together so that nothing can seep through ( you get 5 exp for the stream)
