i mean all these new ones i think arent very good i like the old ones i think this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he3W6IAqKyc&feature=relatedis a bit old
I like the old ones as well, the problem with the new ones is that they are a little too immature for older people. The older ones like Tom and Jerry, Ed Edd n Eddy etc are juvenile, but older people love them. New ones like Spongebob are just too immature, I can't watch that show without feeling embarrassed for it
All these new cartoons make me think the writers and animators are doing crack. What happened to the old stuff? What happened to the original Looney Toons? Everything is screwed over in today's society. New Cartoon rule: If it's not crack induced or oriented towards older audiences, it's Japanese.
Yeah, I barely put the TV on anymore b/c I know I won't enjoy anything. The only things I really looked forward to watch was Tom and Jerry, Popeye, Betty Boo, and the original Scooby Doo and Loony Tunes. Of course I also watched the news with my parents but that's a different story. I also have to ask what these writers/animators are thinking b/c I really don't know WHAT they're thinking-I mean my brother is more mature and common sensed than these guys and he's just a kid, he's immature 75% of the time at home. The only other things I watch is Family Guy and some stuff on discovery. I miss the old shows. : I

If you read up on Adventure Time, you'll find out that it actually takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where everything looks like an acid trip.
But I like the older cartoons. I like the newer ones. It's all about preference. And the cartoons like Ed, Edd n' Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy are just as obscure as the cartoons aired on TV today.
the only thing I could find <bad> in all the new cartoon is that they are too badly animated. Especially in 3D. You know, it's like epilepsia; all those characters are nearly great and well designed, detailed... but their moves... My eyes get hurt when I look at them. Animators don't do their job well P:
What do you mean by that? Have tried to draw any of the characters on today's cartoons? My friend is an amazing artist, he can draw just about anything. But when he tried to draw Finn from Adventure Time, it took him a lot longer than his normal pace.
I mean the animation of the characters nowadays is just crazy. They just twitch, it's not like in old Disney cartoons or old soviet cartoons ya knowe... like there was more attention to actual animation in old time than here.
Now it's just like: "...Joe, we need to make "Toy Story 5" so it could come out in november! it's November already? oh, then just make it quick."
I think the older episodes of cartoons are better then the newer ones. I know this isn't exactly the topic but the old episodes were actually cool, like on spongebob. The new ones are just stupid. This is an old one.
Depends on which one. Cartoons that are just random, stupid things happening in an attempt to be funny, those are horrible to watch. I hated cartoons like Tom and Jerry, Loony tunes, etc. I also hate a lot of the new ones that make everything look like someone high drew them and have stupid faces and are obsessed with, "Adventure." If they aren't like the listed above, I have no problem with them. Hell, even spongebob is better than Tom and Jerry...

I agree. The old Spongebobs were definately better. This is my favorite scene. It's from the episode "Jellyfishing" from season 1 (i think it's the 3rd episode aired).
