The actual what plus what equals what uses some fancily-named machines, so let's sum it up as a card punch, an infinite amound of blank cards, a device to convert these cards into patterns for special generic cylinders, a near infinite supply of said cylinders, a device that turns said cylinders into items, and a device to scale the created objects to various sizes. The punch has been replaced with a calculator that figures out the punch codes based on the two cards put in and whether you want to use an "And" combo or an "Or" combo.
All of this is, in fact, integrated into one unit for simplicity. All you need to do if find the cards for the items you want to combine in the locker it came from, put both cards into the calculator, select a combining type and hit the key marked ==> to make an object, the turn the wheel to scale it to be usable.
Or in actual text commands, say "Combine [item] and [item]" and I will present both results.
