Hello, and weeeeellllcomme to my sketchbook. Here, I'll be uploading drawings, sketches, and other artwork that I've done every week.
I'm pretty much doing this to get me drawing, as I often will start on a drawing and never finish out of laziness. Hopefully this will help me fix that, and provide you with some badly rendered images along the way. Anyway, SLOW INTERWEBS CONNECTIONS BEWARE:
^ Bookmark I made for my brother. Inspired by CastleCrashers.
^ Truck I made during a lecture in my History class. In the end, I was drawing more than taking notes. Test tomorrow. D:
Some uber-cool guy from the mafia taking a smoke. Unfinished.
And finally, a crude stab at creating a short comic. I'll probably try going for a cleaner look next time.
Thanks for checking it out. I'll try to upload more stuff tomorrow, maybe. Critique is appreciated.
I don't know if politics is your thing or not, but I would suggest you make some political cartoons.
Might try it some time.
I can't really critique sketches to much, do you have any stuff thats more finished?
Yeah, here's some older stuff:
^I was thinking of creating a point-and-click game a year or two ago, and this was one of the ideas for a scene in the game.
^My friend and me both began to draw faces in order to get better. This was one of the first ones.(Elongated the face a bit too much and nose is too small)
^Above one is just a doodle, was sort of aiming for a pixelated feel. The bottom drawing was one in a series of homeworks we were assigned in art class. We had to pick out a 2x2(inch) picture, and then recreate it in a 4x4 square, while altering or enhancing some part of it.
Thanks, everyone. Anyway, here's some anatomy studies I did recently, out of "Dynamic Figure Drawing" by Burne Hogarth. Great stuff.
I recently got a webcam, and decided to make a few stop-motion animations to test it out. They're pretty fun to make, I'll definitely make more in the future. (The whiteboard one's not finished, btw.) Pear being Eaten Whiteboard Stopmotion
But now that you uploaded them here, people can steal them and say they made them. like for an example I could right click the image and click "Open image in new tab" then copy the link and use it as my own.
Just like that. so watch out for people stealing it.
Just like that. so watch out for people stealing it.
Eh, doesn't worry me too much. If they're going to steal some of my stuff and claim it as their own in order to inflate their ego, then so be it. I still have the original, tangible drawings, have them on my Photobucket,(which is set private), and most of this stuff isn't really too serious. Just me doodling/sketching, or just doing studies in order to get better at certain subjects.
You're an amazing artist, I can't wait to see more of your work. Although I must admit to wanting some color, or do you stick with greyscale?
Lol, yeah. I've never really bothered much with color, but more with getting proportion and value correct... I have a bit of stuff that's in color. Let me dig it up, and I'll post em.
