they tried to completly stablize the gridwith a fail switch and it seems to work. so they made it a public thing...

well one day some one accessed there wifi inside the grid giving it access to the internets... and some bullshizz programmes made a virus to "stick it to the man" within weeks it began to kill hundreds of people and programs...
User: you are left inside the grid... after you see the portal close to feel scared BUT no worries... you are in uncharted parts of the grid... you have your data disk and a small light-Quad ( i made that up...) if you die you are reantilized at the nearest WIFI hot spot... (they use your Armor games and facebook info)
Program: you are aN AI with in the grid and with the virus you are the "fail switch" battle ready but with verry little... if you die you are reprogrammed to the virus' side you dont have a data disk yet and you have a light cycle with a limited trail... also you are in the middle of a major city
