Wait... How did a giant spider get in the hole if I covered the entrance with branches?

After cleaning the hole I put lotsa more branches on top of the entrance to make sure something like this NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!

We really need to find food, or we're going to die. We've gone two days without food.

I tell everyone to drink from the pool, then borrow Leap's knife (if I can) to cut open a cactus and eat the fruit. I then give some fruit to everyone.

Instead of getting hurt, I take off the pricks from the cactus before eating it. Then I go to to the river to find some fish.

It's groundwater, which is usually clean. This water has never been touched before, so there's no contamination or fish. :P

Besides, fish don't usually live in the desert.

Also, could you use your shovel to dig a well for the water?
