(I know this has been made before but never too successfully.) You are an early humanoid and must survive dinosaurs, tar pits and many other prehistoric dangers. Nothin much else to say.

On the way back you find a forest with perfect trees for building. If you were to create axes it would be a great resource. when you get back you create a rugged map of the area. It has been a long day but your "breakfast" has held you over and you aren't hungry. You bed down for the night. You wake up feeling hungry. What do you do?
I'll call it domesticated but you only have a female, no breeding population. What will you do now?
You search and find some strong bison by a stream. There are at least 20 of them. If you could somehow herd them they could possibly be domesticated but they are much to large to do it without proper technology so hunting is your only option.
Woops sorry. You search and find some strong bison by a stream. There are at least 20 of them. If you could somehow herd them they could possibly be domesticated but they are much to large to do it without proper technology so hunting is your only option.
I'll assume I am the one that found the bisons... so I send 5 man after one bison, in order to catch 4 of them... better stay away from the bigger and look for the younger, pointing to the neck and legs with the wooden lances. Once down, cut the throath with the knife.
Your injury prevents you from hunting but your men take down 3 bison! The 4th seems strangely complacent and weak and it is suspected he is I'll so it is left alone. But how will you get these beasts, each weighing over 800 pounds, back to your people?
In pieces, of course! We cut the meat right there, take whatever is edible, and carry it back to our camp. Also, we look for large bones, as they could prove useful as tool or weapon.
Good idea. They carry back large pieces and you carry bones in your arm not carrying a crutch. You have 4 days of food now and many bones with which to create tools, weapons, or even shelter! What do you do? (Don't forget the tree)
Yeah, that was in my mind. We now carve the containers for the tar, and keep the reamaining wood. With the bones, we carve one lance, in two pieces, one handle and one tip. Also, I send someone to recover the fur of the animals, we need clothing, and some of the intestines, useful for making thread. With the bones I attempt to make nails to sew.
I'll have all but three men head back. The three left will continue to look for a male Ekkalo. When I get back with my men, I'll take a rock, and carve it out to make a primitive hand spade. I'll have my men make one for each.
