Hi, guys. Who here remembers my old Elements of Disaster games? It used to be one of the most famous game in here (screw Dungeons and Dragons, This is an original concept!). So, I've decided to reopen it. I've tried several times in the past (The Janusion Act, Kingdom of Shadows). It now has a new name: Castle of Shadows! lol, so, here goes all that my forum gaming career has to offer!!!:
You are walking home from the governmental meet. The year is 865 BC, location is Petrilis, Greece. You see some of your friends walking behind you, heading home as well. The new government has declared independence against the Gods. As you walk into yuor villa, you see dark purple-black clouds over the mountians. You are beginning to think that declaring independence against the Gods wasn't such a good idea. Lightning starts shooting down from the clouds as they billow over the town. You close up the window holes to make sure no rain gets in. A friend of your rushes in, soaked down to his undergarments. "Man, it's one **** of a storm out there," he says,"I might bunker down in here until it moves on." You nood. The lightning you see outside your window don't seem right, though. They look like purple flames or...You begin to here screams. The ground starts rumbling. The roof begins to collapse in on you and your friend. "We go to get out of here, or we'll be crushed," your friend says, pulling you outside. The rain has stopped, but the storm has just begun. People are running around, screamign there heads off as...purple flaming creatures begin to chase them? What is going on?! A lightning bolt, a silver one this time, strikes some one near you, and they dissentegrate into light-blue dust. "Oh crap, we got to find shelter, now," your friend screams, then he gets hit by the silver lightning. You try to grab him but he is gone. You begin to run, trying to get out of the village. As you near the edge, the is a large line of people looking down in a crack...that is filled with lava. The crack runs the entire lenght of the city: your trapped. You decide to find shelter, and began to run again. You trip over a fallen body, possibly dead. You see a bright silver light strike you arm, and you watch as your body slowly disentegrates....Your vision goes black, and you lose your memory....As now that you are gone, people begin to scream again as they now face that there is no more life for them. The city begins to sink beneath the waves, and the screaming ceases....
You wake up on a park bench, in NYC. You have no memory of Petrilis. Your wearing some jeans, a t-shirt, and shoes. You look around, and see people milling about, calling to each other by name. Only problem is, you don't remember yours. You rack you brain for some information you can remember about your self:
Name: Age: Gender: ------------------------ PowerYou won't know it once you begin, but you will find out about it eventually) Strength: 1 Intellegence: 1 Charisma: 1 ------------------------ Money: $0 Inventory: None
Now that you remember something, you begin to think of what you were doing, before now...
That is where your story begins. Lets hope you can finish you story, before the Gatekeeper finds you...
You do so, but the storm doesn't let out. Instead, it begins to cause strong winds. Several of the windows in the store blow out, and you hear some one yell, "get down! it's a tornado!" What do you do?
You do so. You then hear so growling, and a guy screaming (like a girl, xD). You see some legs of...something, walkign past. They were bathed in purple flames. What do you do?
She stares at you blankly, the swings her hammer downward towards you, what do you do? (hint hint, what do you do while at schoo lto answer a question? lol)
