You are a soldier in the U.S army. You were being assaigned to Iraq. You were in a bus heading for a U.S outpost near a village. Your vehicle stops in the middle of the outpost. You see a 6'9 ft man walk to your bus. He had the aura of authority. Yet his rank, from the insignia on his arm, was a Master Sargeant. The bus driver opened the door and all of you stepped out and made a line in front of him. "All right you fu***, I am Master Sargeant Alexie. My job is to keep you sorry excuses of soldiers. UNDERSTAND!?!?" He has a Russian accent. The others have varying ranks. "SIR YES SIR!!!" The others yell, terrified. Russians knew how to kill.
Basically, you're a soldier in the U.S army. As stated before. You were sent here for a tour of duty. 'Nuff said.

To Hyper:Errrr. How did they help in that? I don't think it was called the Soviot war, more like the Cold war for us.
To clarify, I wasn't calling you a retard, it was Loco. And he's used to that kind of verbal abuse from me. xP The Soviet War in Afghanistan is called the Soviet-Afghan War or the Soviet War in Afghanistan. The Cold War is totally different. I mean, the Soviet-Afghan War was part of the Cold War, but the Cold War was much, much, much bigger than the Soviet-Afghan War. The Cold War was basically every war fought by the United States and/or the Soviet Union from after World War II ended to the early 1990s when the Soviet Union was dissolved. No, thanks.
And also, jsyk, the Cold War was not just military conflict. It also had a lot of political aspects, from tension between the two states between a primary conflict between communism and capitalism.
To Hyper:Oh I know THAT. (Loco) Oh yeah. The Afghan-Soviot war caused the Soviot Union's economy to get worse than ours. Causing the downfall of the Soviets. Now give me a cookie.

No cookie for you, because that's inaccurate. The Soviet Union did lose the Soviet War in Afghanistan, but it wasn't hurt very badly by the loss. If any nation got ****ed up by the Soviet War in Afghanistan, it would most definitely be Afghanistan. The U.S. and U.S.S.R. both managed to walk away unscathed by comparison. Both the United States and the Soviet Union lost some proxy wars and won others, and those did affect the outcome, but the downfall of the Soviet Union had a lot more to do with politics and economics than it did with the military. Secrecy, propaganda, and the all-around environment of war communism were why the Soviet Union collapsed. The Soviet Union became one giant military industrial giant that really couldn't hold itself up, and there was so much dishonesty in the administration that they couldn't even get accurate reports on their own military or economic state(not that the latter contributed all that much, I'm just saying). There was no morale, and the people felt totally alienated from the government. Stalin created a society where dissidents were shipped off to gulags and the culture revolved around military and practically nothing else. There was no way that the Soviet Union could sustain itself. The loss of the Soviet War in Afghanistan was just the catalyst.
i knew they only helped us in afghanistan, but they still considered themselves freedom fighters
I'm glad to see you still have all your fail, Loco. They are currently our enemies in Afghanistan, and they were our friends in Afghanistan. It's not the location, but the time, that changed their position towards the United States. And yes, the Taliban are freedom fighters. The only difference between now and then is that they are currently fighting the US for their freedom instead of the Soviet Union. I don't quite understand what you meant in saying that.
