an old grandma scolds you for acting so mean (they really are not receiving the whole 'we're at war" thing) they ignore seeing as you're not the ranking officer
she smacks you on teh wrist with her cane, surprisingly hard and makes you drop the gun
Richthofen quickly picks the gun back up but keeps it pointed at the ground. "You don't understand!" he says in French. "Our orders are to kill anyone who doesn't surrender. You have to -- now!"
"well then your superior is a very mean man" and she wobbles back to the cafe
"If you will not surrender, then at least hide!" Richthofen says. "I thought our orders were to kill them," Blutrescu(who does not speak French) says. He raises his gun but Richthofen grabs his hand and throws off the shot. Blutrescu fires, but his shot goes wide. "What are you doing, sir?" "Nothing," Richthofen replies half-heartedly.
Seeing Blutrescu go down, somebody panics(not saying who) and shoots Granny before Richthofen can intercede again. How bad the wound is, is up to you I guess.
Well, it was actually two somebodies. Straussenberg legitimately panicked and shot by accident(so there's a good chance he'll miss), and Metzinger shot at Granny in cold blood but he's pretty far away.
