He probaly looks quite dirty, his big tanker radio-headset is still on and beneath a torn Volksgrenadiers cap peaks dirty blonde hair; through the dirt and grease of his fatigues it is vaguely identifiable tyat he is a Lieutenant, and his stature and unsaid resiliency attest to this.
If the hotel is big enoug the tankers rip apart any unoccupied rooms for spare blankets, towels, socks, pillows, anything that can keep you warm.
Richthofen starts directing refit operations in the hotel. He has the soldiers start blocking all of the windows with whatever they can find, leaving only small firing slits, and barricade the doors. When Richthofen leaves to talk to Herrmann, Heiskanen takes over. He starts barking orders at everyone, and they scramble to follow.
"Are you the CO of this gaggle?"
Trolololol, "gaggle". Funneh word. "Of them, yes, I am, Lieutenant," Richthofen replies, gesturing to his own troops. "But I do not know if I am the ranking officer or not."
