Ok, so, im terrible at makeing games. <-- Not a good way to start this out? Yeah, i know, but still, its the truth. Most credit for this game goes to "Thundar The Barbarian" show, for a basic idea, although the races they had were....weird. And the show was a little TO old and kid friendly. AANNNYYYWWWAAAYYYSS.
In the future year of 2748, a great comet(as most assume it was, but the reports on it have been lost) came to close to the earth, destroying parts of the atmosphere, causeing chaos all over. Floods arrised, volcanos errupted, and all earthly order was destroyed. Chunks of the moon were smashed from the comet into the earth, inside of which was a strange cyrstal called "Excrium"(for lack of a better name) which caused mutation and powers to be imbued into the human race, and drastic changes to the wild life and landscape. The world is now in shambles, and tis' time for your adventure.(Note, story differs somewhat, gameplay is as of an rpg, with a mix of high tech sci-fi and primitive medival items and weapons together). Basiclly, gameplay, is, like most rpg's, freeroaming, gathering items, equiping, fighting, searching, converseing, exploreing, ECT.

Note: There are no skill points and such as i see i can hardly implement it and take it into consideration.
Race:
-Pure human: Humans who survied the "incident" un-mutated. Very rare, but hey, your the "Pwotaginist"(protaginists)(Lawlz for those who get that joke) and rare is your middle name(not literally).
-Mutant: Humans affected by the Excrium who mutated in cool and unusual ways. Although you slowly deteriorat mentally, youll have a pretty good time while it lasts! Once their mentallity wears out, they become "feral" and become like the animal, easy to control to those who are skilled. Powers range from wings, to uber-buff muscles, to being nocturnal, to minor mental-magical powers(such as confuseing people and leaveing foot prints that are...cold?)
Sorcerer-Humans affected by the Excrium gaining "magical" or "mystic powers" Uselly augumented by helmets containing or made of Excrium, they are uselly at least half insane but exceptions have been made. Without a Excrium "altered" or infused item, they are still capable of basic mental tricks and magical attacks, but are greatly inforced by Excrium. When wielding a Excrium item, they have been seen to manipulate machines and even reanimate dead.
-Shape Shifter: People forciblly or willingly imbued with the blood of an animal and a silver of Excrium may CALL themselves this, but really, they just imitate it. A true shape shifter is born with strange abilltys to transform their appearence to their will. However, if exposed to Excrium they will revert to their appearence. They are able to assume a "main" form, be it animal or human or even of a dragon. They can assume this form (note: even if your shape shifted as a dragon, while you can use its claws and teeth, you cant breath fire) whenever, but they can also use other forms, but they only last for 5 hours at max.
There are also other races which arnt playable, but might be later if i decide.

He motions his hands on the ground like a spider, has it crawl around, then he takes his hand and pretends to be trying to smash it. Then the "spider" leaps into his ear and he motions his arms out infront like a zombie. Then he shows him self mineing a invisible rock with a invisible pick axe, and points to the meteor.

You are all bound and tied in the car, and they didnt let you keep your STYROFOAM cupe of wine when they grabbed you three. It would be impossible to throw the apprentice when tied up, let alone in a car. I under stand you have a strong arm, but its not strong enough to break the bounds.

Further down the road you enter a small town, dedicated as a community of sorcers. They welcome you, and you notice a spell shop and a artifact shop.

Going through one, you end up inside the meteor. The chamber your in has many tunnels going in and out of it, and 3 pitch black egg sacks swing from the celling. there is a tunnel down and a tunnel up. Or the tunnel you came in in.

Down further, you are up from a window like view over head of a room. There is an enourmas black bug in the center of the room. It is constantly spouting out smaller black bugs and egg sacks from it, and on its finger you spot the ring of Ish-Ken.

A wise old man running the shop looks at you. Man: I know you do not have any money. So i give you a choice. You can ethier have this spell that lets you freeze your opponet solid, or you can take a gamble get one of 3 scrolls. I will roll a dice. If it lands on 1-2, you get a scroll(spell) that lets you turn invisible. If it lands on 3-4, i will give you a scroll that causes you to explode. And if it lands on 5-6, i will give you a scroll that lets you teleport to a location you have been to previously. The catch? I will roll the dice in secret, so you wont know what scroll you got. Deal? Or take the ice scroll?(Note: Scrolls are spells, you read them, they disappear, you get the spell)

I sneak on over to the bug before turning into a giant snake and try to use my size to strangle the bug.

As soon as you try to strangle it, it shacks you off, and spits out tons of tiny bugs that pin you down then scramble around looking for your ears. Thankfully, you dont have any.

As stated in the OP, you cannot shape shift abillitys. You can only use your self. For example, you can turn into a dragon, but you cant breath fire. You bite the bug, but it causes your fangs to disintigrate and forces you out of the shape shift.
