You start out with a jog then halfway through start sprinting. Conversely, she starts out with a sprint then about halfway through she goes into a jog. You start catching her, and about 3/4 of the way through you pass her. She starts running faster and catches you. She just barely manages to edge you out to the finish line, it was a very narrow victory, but neither of you really did all that great(rolled a 52 and a 54). Roberto and Paul, who had arrived just before the end of the race eating their frozen yogurt, start clapping. "Nice try," Samantha says to you once she's caught her breath, and it's hard to tell if she's being sincere or sarcastic. "But I think you have a flagpole to scale."
