You used to watch gladiators for fun, to see them slaughter each other in many brutal ways, but now, you've been put in the shoes of the gladiator. You never realized how hard they had it, to have to fight for their lives everyday, but you can't change things now.
In this game, you'll be playing as a gladiator in the medieval times!

You run under it, holding your shield over you and carve a hole in its belly. The chimera roars loudly in pain. It's snake tail finds you and bites you in the arm! (-2 HP)
You drink the health potion (+10 HP) and try to conjure a fireball, but fail. (INT check failed!) The chimera pounces on you, knocking you to the floor! (-4 HP)
You get up and slash at its neck! You slice cleanly through the lion head's neck, which starts bleeding heavily! The chimera winces and finally succumbs to its wounds, falling to the floor. (+6 EXP!)
The crowd cheers! Not everyday they see a gladiator beat a powerful chimera! They start tossing coins into the arena, which you promptly pick up. Once you're done, you count a total of 25 Coins!
The guard from before takes you back to your cell, locking the door behind him as he goes back to the arena. Now you have two options, you can rest up for tomorrow's match, (Start the first match with full HP and MP) or you can try to escape. (Though you'll start with the HP and MP you have right now)
You decide that the potential trouble isn't worth it, and go to sleep. You wake up the next day and see the same buff guard from before as he unlocks your cell.
"I'm surprised you're still alive. Most of the newbies usually die on their second match. Of course, this is a good thing for you."
He unlocks your cell and takes you to the arena for your first fight of the day. As you enter the arena, the same familiar feelings rush back. The sound of the roaring crowd, and the smell of blood.
On the other side of the arena is a man armed with two scimitars and wearing leather armor. He looks pretty agile.
You keep your sword and shield up and slowly start walking towards him. Suddenly, he starts running at you! You get ready to counterattack, but he just jumps above you and slashes you in the back! (-3 HP)
You fire a Magic Missile at him, but he just dodges it! You then charge and stab at him with your sword with the intent of impaling him, but he manages to step out of the way and you only manage to slice his left arm! He retaliates and slashes you in the chest! (-2 HP)
You turn around and make a wide slash with your sword. This time, it hits and carves through his stomach! He backs away a little and takes you by surprise when he lunges at you, slashing with both scimitars! (-3 HP)
