First the dog gets scared so it bites your hand.. but then it calms down and let's you pet it. It follows you into the cage.

You continue into the Status-Check room. In there you see a Machine, just the size that a human can fit in it, and a lot of food and drink dispensers.

*You trip on your own feet and stumble down the stairs with a faceplant on the tile-floor*

When you get up you see a bigger much breezier room. You hear a beep sound and you look up, on the wall there is a digital number displayer that has the number '01' on it. The room is all made of tiles and on each end of the room there are doors and a small set of stairs on each door, so that the floor of the room is a little lower. Again there are Cameras and radios at the ceiling corners.
//"This is the testing room. It will change shape and size according to the tests we run on you and all the other subjects. Know that DY-Laboratories is very big and has many sections, so every test subject has their own area. So don't worry about running into any humans down here! .. Anyway, since this is only your first day here, we wont start roughly with you. All you need to do right now is- *A table with three items comes up of from under the tile-floor* pick one of these items and take it with you. After that you can proceed in the Status-Check room."
On the table there are three items, from left to right they are: A Banana, A Rubber Ball, A Teddy bear

You reach for the door handle and open the door. The light from there also shows you that there is another door in the dark room. But this door led you into a big room with conveyor belts leading to open hatches, on the conveyor belts there are different items being made by mechanical arms. Those items probably get sent in other rooms through those hatches. None of the items seem too important. There is a pile of scrap metal and pipes and spare parts on the corner. There is also a door on the other side of the room. This room is not made of tiles like the testing rooms, this is obviously off limits to test subjects.
