I'll keep the first version simple. If people like it, then this may get complicated.

The year is 2048 A.D., 25 days ago aliens visited earth, they wanted to elevate us to the space age. They disproved god (look, if you don't like it, either don't give a crap, or leave this), fixed our corruption, and taught us a Socialism-Capitalism hybrid economy, which is proven to work best.
You are the governor of a colony of 2 million, the first of billions, to head outwards of the SolSys. You will be the first person to reach the Alpha Centauri ABC System. You will pick a planet to land on. And will colonize it. For survival. For the human race.

I'm Christian, but I don't care about the beginning, its just a game. I hope that doesn't stop other people from playing too, this had a lot of work put into it.

So yeah, how would this work? Could this turn into a RP (I build 5 mines and get 40 credits, which then I use them to make 3 fighters)?

I think it should be a RP.

Role Play.

It's when YOU Decide the outcome, etc. But make it reasonable, godmode is frowned upon.

RPG if your gonna be online a lot.
RP if you don't want to make decisions for people and take more time off.

If it becomes an RP though, I can see people who would be taking it too far and make it unreasonable.

Then I will correct them.

If they say "then I make 50 fighters from 20 metal"

I will say "Unreasonable. Change it, or I will."

I would change it to "then I make 3 fighters from 20 metal" or so.
