After a while of shooting and bashing you finally take one down(250exp) and you continue firing and bashing at the other, but it manages to get in a strike (-12 HP)before it falls. Evolution works like this, the more your dragon battles and the more it eats, the more evolution it gains. When a dragon gains an evolution level, it gains 5 DP, and grows larger.
You freeze them to the ground, but as you go back and fire ice at them, they manage to break out, and they start running towards you. Also, size is the level of your evolution, so only food, and fighting can level up size.
