Yes, a game based around Fighting Armored Vehicles (i.e. tanks, APC's, etc.)
Added a little to the story, made it a bit clearer, fixed some mistakes, just trying to make it overall better.
This will be a near future mercenary tank based game, where you take jobs for money and use that to upgrade and buy things or new tanks, as the war drudges on.
It's 2015 and the war has been looming since 1991, nations split and different factions with diverse views and ideals popping up all over the place, the Cold War was said to have ended when the USSR broke up, but it was not the case. Tensions rose as nations split up again calling their alliances to either democracy or dictatorship and communism, most prominent in the Middle East. After a failed attack in 2012 when Russia launched a nuclear missile that was disarmed and damaged mid flight and identified as a Russian missile, the nations that had their allegiance set in stone were already poised for attack only had to give the order, and it was, like a bloody new years gift they attacked January first, 2013, as Congress fumbled around in their split nature, not even able to decide whether or not to call off the attacks or keep going. Now in 2015 you are one of the myriads of mercenaries who scraped up money for an old, Cold War-era tank, with tanks and aircraft as main fighting forces on land with more and more anti infantry technologies. Currently in the war, the communists hold most of West Germany (split up again, since the war started, the Berlin wall is now the Dortmund Wall, which is much further west) and it is more or less a line of trenches, as that is where main fighting is in the west. In the Middle East most of the Arab countries are held strong by the Pro-Democracy forces with many small skirmishes happening, and in Asia, it is very blurred with the boundaries changing all day. Finally in Africa, many of the smaller tribes are raising armies to crush each other to take power of the countries, and also hiring a lot of small time mercenaries to attack.
The main fighting being between the Communists and Pro-Democracy countries, there are also dozens of secondary factions fighting for their own agendas.
So as mentioned this will be almost all armored vehicle combat, there is also air vehicles (mostly helicopters) that you can buy, also you can form a large team by hiring or convincing others to join you. You will start off with a small Cold War era light tank. But as mentioned you can purchase yourself (or your team) Armored Cars, Light/Medium/Heavy/Main Battle tanks, Tank Destroyers, Self Propelled Artillery, Missile Launcher Vehicles, Helicopters, etc. etc.
Also, you can upgrade the systems of tanks, add a few extra things (when you buy it you get the basic package, normal engine, normal armor, main gun and a single Machine gun. Things like reactive armor, smoke grenade launchers, IR scopes, etc. you need to buy)
