Right, so this game will take place in the Napoleonic wars, and before, during muskets, cannons, and the early grenades. All that good stuff.
Now the general time period will be 1700-1815, ending with the end of the Napoleonic wars, you will play a lowly soldier (or an officer, but it's first come first serve) you will get promotions if you do good, and be upgraded as the battles fight on, as the troops are outfitted with better equipment.

They do and when you do, it's degenerated into an all out melee brawl, you're not quite as good as that as your Average infantryman
