Just wanted to hear what everybody thought about Paranormal Activity 1-3. I didn't think it was that scary more like creepy.

Also, Red Shoes

yes, I wouldn't say it was scary, but it was exreamly disturbing, and the morale of the story is so rediculous that it was one of my steps toward atheism, if you don't know the morale of that story is "only think about god during church" so not thinking about the red dancing shoes instead of god during church made god punish her by making her dance until her feet were bleeding and to end it she cuts off her feet and dies of blood loss.

God seems like quite a fair guy... Definately a person who finds their time with someone else very valuable.

one of the scariest movies ever made, the scene in the 3rd one where they have the babysitter over & the cameras set up on the fan freaked me out so much really scary

I remember watching something on tv months ago (think it was a preview) where people were vomiting and crying while watching them in theaters. I don't understand why.

Marketing ploy. Once you take a class on marketing you're doomed to analyze every market tool you see on TV, which completely ruins commercials.

Paranormal Activity was an attempt to get that "Blair Witch Project" feel. Y'know, the "indie" thing. Cloverfield tried it too. I've seen the first two PA and thought they were Ok. The ending of the first one was pretty scary. The part were Micah goes up to the attic made by head spin for a few seconds, which was a &quotush your buttons" kind of thing. The part where the Ouija board catches on fire was pretty nuts. I didn't like the second one. It felt like it was trying to reconnect with you on a more personal level. My hope for the series died in the 2nd movie when they went into the basement. I laughed so hard...
