I'm actually amazed you find the time to do all these games till full quests AND those paintings/drawings

I really like the way you paint plants and trees. And putting the tree on the left feels very nice. A sort of feeling like you could lean on it or something. The only advice I could think of would be to make the houses as straight and precise as possible, but I'm not sure if that would mess with the peaceful feeling you get from the painting (to have everything loose and in the middle almost rigid houses). What do you think?

As I promised,I will now give you the details about how this shield was made.
It is a complete handmade,and as such is unique.I started making it at mid-May,and finished it at the end of June.Almost a month and a half.Most of the time was spent on drying the glue and paint.This is the first time I made something like this.If you have any objections and criticisms on the design and quality of the painting,you are on the wrong way!The idea here is the key and a great will to implement something like this by one user who does not want anything in return.Thanks is enough!

Now I will introduce you to the materials and process of making.

The materials that were used are:

-3 different types of wood
-laminate
-plywood
-fibreboard



First of all,on the paper I drew the cut-seeds(schemes).
The shield consists of two layers of wood which are joined after processing.
At the place where the picture is I used fibreboard which is adapted for painting.The process of processing wood is very hard.I used a handsaw,finesaw,scissors,scalpel,sandpaper,grit sandpaper,bradawl and piercer.I do not recommend anyone to do this without protective equipment.Personally, I got cut several times with
a scalpel while processing edges.Dimensions of the shield are small,and some things can only be handle by scalpel.I note once again: Do not attempt without proper protective equipment,because you can easily run out of fingers,its not a joke.For making all parts of the wood, it takes about 12 hours,including drawing sketches, cut-seeds,sandblasting and fitting parts.

Glue for surface I used for painting base.The glue dries very slowly.When its dry it must then be well sanded.After that,a second layer of glue must be applied,to cover the imperfections.This must be repeated as many times until you get a perfect smooth surface.When you get a perfect flat surface,a thin layer of glue for colors is applied.Drying time is crucial.It takes about 10 days for all this to dry thoroughly.After that I started with the drawing,first I made a sketch on paper in several versions.I have long thought about which version to draw, because of the image dimensions and
amount of details.I decided not to draw with a pencil and after that to paint.Insteadof that I started to paint immediately.I did not like how it turned out,so I did it all over again! YAY! But this time I first drew the contours and then I started to paint.The base image was completed,finally!Most of the time I spent on this.



-4 different types of colors
-watercolors
-temperas colors
-ink
-colors for wood and metal.

-various types of consumable materials

Background on the painting was done by watercolors (grass, castle).Ferret knight in the armor was completely done with temperas colors and the details with ink.When I finished painting I merged two main parts of shield with glue for wood.Glue is applied evenly on both sides.The mold is made of laminate because of its properties,and the shield was
placed into it cover with a weight of 10 kilograms.Coinciding force is essential.It was standing 5 days in mold.It was practically completed.I decided to paint the frame of the shield with colors for wood and metal.I wanted to be realistic.I put the color in several layers.In the final sediment I caused the color to look imperfect in order to realistically
portray medieval metal.This color has long dried time.It took about 7 days to dry completely.When it was all over,I started making the finest details.And of course, thinking about how to put my username on painting
