Darkonians: The gothic followers of the Darkonina family the Darkonians. The first Darkonians were mafisoso from Italy but fled when the coppers caught there sent. Now they loiter in underground haunts and converted sewer pipes. Uniform: Dark blue trench-coat, dark jeans, Insignia: Curside D inside a jagged hexagon.
Jigjams: Followers of Arthur Jigjam and his fathers before him the first Jigjams come from Eurasia, after moving to America they made and alliance with the law-enforcement and eked out a living as bounty hunters. Uniform: Crimson jacket, greyish red overalls. Insigina: Two back-to-back J's shadowed by a Russian cross.

I cut through the back of the tent and hope to move toward the center of camp that way, discretely.

You find yourself in a make-shift stable with a dozen horses in it. There is a women matching Talia Darkonians description grooming the animals and feeding them. She also insists on braiding the fearsome combat horses hair with pink ribbons.

I duck under the nearest horse and try to make my way closer to her by hiding behind the massive creatures.

Many of the horses glare at you suspiciously but don't move. As you grow nearer you can hear Talia singing the Canto Degli Italianai. Ash you move within a few metres she draws a stiletto without glancing around. She hold the knife casually on her lap as she continues singing.

I stop moving and try to keep still, listening to her voice among the heavy breathing of horses. As the song nears it's end, I pop up from my hiding place and shoot at Talia Niall.

As you fire the pistol Talia ducks behind the horse, her knife lashing in your direction. The thrown blade hits you in the shoulder, the hilt sticking out conveniently.

I leave the knife for a moment and try to spook the horses around me to incite a stampede.

The horses stubbornly refuse to be spooked and one actually aims a bite at you. There is a clatter as Talia draws a weapon from one of the horses saddle holsters. She moves into view holding it low. It's a blunderbuss.

You fire once at Talia and she returns fire, the blunderbuss shot crumpling the water trough behind you. Talia drops the single-shot flintlock and back toward the door. You can hear people shouting, followed by gun shot.

Holstering the Nagant, I immediately reach for the lead packer. I pull the leather bound pump and fire.

The sound of the weapon cycling the round alerts Talia and she hides behind a horse. Incidentally you shoot the horse, the force of the fist of lead knocking it over, and she is pinned down under its corpse.

The knife comes out easily, saturated in you oxidising blood. Abram appears in the doorway wearing a new pinstripe suit, his grizzled features trying to remain rugged looking in the proximity to both a kerchief and tie. There doing a good job. "Don't ask." He says through the bandana his wearing.
