The year is 1812. Scientists have recently discovered the art of steam, and with it, many inventions have been created. The world was made different, smarter men have come forth to add their inventions to the world. The most recent invention, was the invention of Mechs. Some of them are small, at the height of 3-5 feet. These mechs were made for the sole purpose of hard labor. Why work hard on something when you can have a Mech do it for you!? From there, Mechs grew drastically. Another inventor saw the Mechs for more than there ability to do arduous effort, and he made more Mechs. These Mechs were giants, though. Standing from 7-10 feet tall! They were made for the purpose of war. With the new invention, war sprang out everywhere. The Mechs, they were on the front lines. Devastating to regular infantry, but every now and then, two Mechs from different origins would battle it out. It was both Amazing and Terrifying. You are a pilot, a specially trained person who operates the Mechs. Your job: Battle, destroy, kill. Otherwise, stay alive.

ORIGINS: There are two different origins. There is the UC (United Confederation) Or the Rebels. Each has there own goals and story.

I run off, reload and aim for the same knee joint again. I contact the engineer and demand that he go down the tracks of the giant, then tell base about the Mech.
You stay where you are and aim at the UC Mech. He starts to run off, but is too slow. He is blown off of his feet and sails through the air. The Mech jumps up and runs off once again. -----------
You rush off again. This time the bomb explodes late. But shrapnel still somehow finds you. You look around for higher ground, but its all flat around you. Far in the distance is a mountain, but it'd take a long time to get there. While you think, you hear rapid beeping directly behind your Mech. -------------
You run off after the pilot. He leads you to the Mech bay. There is only thirteen Mechs in this camp. "Not a very lucky number", You think to yourself. A pilot points to a big Engineer Mech. "Thats mine. See you out there!" He jumps up and grabs ahold of his Mech, he climbs into it, and starts it up. Steam emanates from the Mech. You continue to run down the line of Mechs. You see yours, a soldier Mech. You hop into it, and fire it up. Steam fills the ****pit, clouding your vision. It clears, and you follow the Engineer Mech into the compound. Complete mayhem has broken out. Infantry runs about, firing blindly. A whir comes from somewhere up ahead, and some dug-in infantry is blown by a cannon. An enemy Mech detaches itself from the turmoil and charges you. -----------
You start to run off, but are blown through the air when the Mech turns and fires at you with its cannons. You land in a heap. Luckily you hadn't been hit directly. You get off, and start running away again. ---------------
You look for cover, running away from the bomb. You flip on your IR camera, and look around. No sign of any stealth Mech. BAM! The bomb you ran away explodes.
You contact base. "Umm... theres bombs dropping out of nowhere!" A low female voice crackles through the intercom. "You must have stumbled into a mine field. I'd be careful. Use your IR camera on the ground to find the positions of the mines and avoid them." ----------
You would fire upon the Mech, but you don't have a weapon quite yet. A Tank Mech comes out of the melee and tackles the Mech that was charging you to the ground. The Engineer Mech comes up behind you. "Here! Use it well!" He hands you a MI6 Machine Gun. The Tank Mech and the Mech that charged you grapple on the ground. ----------
*Since you were inactive for awhile, lets say your Mech shut down involuntarily.* "Anybody there?" you ask. You get no reply from anyone. Your Mech starts to whir and buzz. Tendrils of steam waft up from the pipes that snake through the Mech. You hear a faint crackle on the intercom. You stand up and notice a few Mech tracks heading out. One of the tracks are the giant Mech's tracks. The other's are a regular Mech. -----------
You run over to the other side of the truck. The enemy Mech continues to fire, so he must still think you have not moved. You reach one arm up and grab the roof of the truck, and haul yourself up. You stay low, and slide across. The enemy Mech is still slowly circling around the truck looking for you. He glances up and sees you, but its too late. You jump into the air and pin him to the ground with the sword. ------------
You successfully get though the minefield using your IR camera. You're lucky the top brass decided to put them on all Mechs. You head back to base, where a warm bed and shower await you. While you're at the base, you should repair your Mech. If you want, you can talk to the Weapons-Master or the Armor-Master to see the costs of their merchandise. -----------
