The year is 1812. Scientists have recently discovered the art of steam, and with it, many inventions have been created. The world was made different, smarter men have come forth to add their inventions to the world. The most recent invention, was the invention of Mechs. Some of them are small, at the height of 3-5 feet. These mechs were made for the sole purpose of hard labor. Why work hard on something when you can have a Mech do it for you!? From there, Mechs grew drastically. Another inventor saw the Mechs for more than there ability to do arduous effort, and he made more Mechs. These Mechs were giants, though. Standing from 7-10 feet tall! They were made for the purpose of war. With the new invention, war sprang out everywhere. The Mechs, they were on the front lines. Devastating to regular infantry, but every now and then, two Mechs from different origins would battle it out. It was both Amazing and Terrifying. You are a pilot, a specially trained person who operates the Mechs. Your job: Battle, destroy, kill. Otherwise, stay alive.

You jump back, and the sword misses you by mere inches. You yell for someone to help you, but everyone is engaged in combat. You're going to have to deal with this one on your own. -------------
You jump off the giant Mech, and you turn around to watch it topple over and slam into the ground, raising huge clouds of dust. You notice that an UC Engineer is trapped under the giant Mech's torso. -------------
You head over to the giant Mech just as it falls. You hear a cry for help and notice that a UC Engineer has been trapped under the torso of the giant Mech. A Rebel Mech stands to your right a ways. -----------
You hesitated when the giant Mech started to fall, and it fell straight on top of you. Your Mech's protective iron bends as the full weight of the giant Mech's torso sits on top of you. *You didn't know whether it was your Mech or the Giant Mech, but you could have read other posts or my update again to decide which one.* ------------
The enemy Mech with the Powered Mace starts to climb up on the rock, and you swing your sword at it. The sword slices straight through his right arm, the one carrying the Mace. The enemy Mech falls backward from the rock and lands on its back. The other enemy Mech, however, has disappeared. He is no-where in sight. --------------
You roughly handle the pilot, and throw him to the ground. You ask him the questions. "The patrol?" He smiles, but quickly grimaces in pain as you put the point of your sword in his abdomen. "It... It wasn't a patrol. We are carrying something. I can't tell you what because I don't know myself. And yeah... yeah we are part of a larger group that going to meet up in the Wasteland." -------------
You tag the Mech, +150 Merits, +30Exp. The ending of the giant Mech mostly goes to you, but the others can still tag it. You have leveled up, which means that once you get back to your camp or HQ, you can look through the weapons and armor. You check to see if the Mech still works. You open your pilot door, and hop out. You climb towards the giant Mech's pilot door. You hop in, ignoring the blood splattered and the broken glass. The controls are different than the ones in your Mech, but you eventually get it started, sending clouds of steam into the air. You don't know how to stand it up or operate it's weapons. ---------------
You cut the Mech's other arm off, and you leave him immobilized. You search for the other Mech, and you jump off your rock. The minute your feet hit the ground, the bushes rustle to your left and your knocked off of your feet. Your Mech is on it's back, and the enemy Mech is running away, without its sword.
I yell at the engineer not to worry. Then I tell the guy now piloting the giant mech to stand up and be snappy about it. After this, I yell "I will let you off if you let all the pilots leave safely! Bear in mind that my cannon can now easily reach your ****pit."
You start experimenting with the controls. You hit a button, and steam rises up around the Mech. You hear someone yelling below you "Stand up and be snappy about it! I will let you off if you let all the pilots leave safely! Bear in mind that my cannon can now easily reach your ****pit." You look down and see a UC Soldier with a big cannon looking up at you. He must have been the one yelling. The controls seem to be completely different than the ones in your Mech. But after a few failed tries, you get a sense of how to move, but still no idea how to use weapons. ------------
You begin shooting at the Mech's midsection, which is somewhat damaged from your previous attack there. A few rounds must have gone critical, because the enemy Mech slumps, and shards of glass from the pilot door falls to the ground. Before the pilot can do anything, you run up to the Mech, and drive your Mech's knee into the now unprotected pilot bay. Blood leaks onto your Mech's leg. You look up from the enemy Mech and notice that your allies are winning, and pushing the enemies from the compound. Enemy and allied bodies and Mechs are all over the ground. ----------
You yell at the pilot in the giant Mech to stand up, and he starts fiddling with the controls. The arms and legs jerk around now and again. You tell the Engineer not to worry, but he looks distressed. -----------
You try to get out of your Mech, but the giant Mech has you and your pilot door pinned down. It's a wonder nothing has broken yet. A voice from behind you tells you not to worry, and then you hear yelling. You notice a solid iron support has started to bend. -----------
You stay near the entrance, but no sound comes from inside the base. You look again, and the tents show no sign of anyone living within them at the moment. It seems deserted... All of a sudden, a large iron door bangs open and a few military personnel walk out. None of them have weapons and they talk in hushed tones. -----------
