What if in Dragon Age Origins there was more than just one hero? The first battle against the Darkspawn was won and the king survived? This is all about new and different events that will cause a far different game.
You are one of many conscripted to undergo the rigorous trials of iniatoin into the ranks of the famous Grey Wardens as the threat of another Darkspawn invasion is imminent with the confirmation of a Archdemon made by the skilled and lucky scout, Reylan. His efforts allowed for the many races to prepare although the elves and dwarves believe that they will fare better to fight them on their own. King Cailan gathers his army with the new Grey Warden in hopes to quickly kill the Archdemon. Can you find glory in the midst of battle or will you fall as so many have before the evil Darkspawn?

There also may be a Darkspawn race when we get to the DLC parts and I am open for any suggestions but I am limiting the numbers of Grey Wardens to 10.
Alistair sees Lyali and waves "Over here Lyali!" he yells. In the time he yells, the other two that didn't immediately show up came. One was the alienage that Kiviord saw before and the other was one not seen at the kitchen or about. It was impossible to see his face as his helmet covered most of it except for his eyes were a very deep and bright blue. His armor matched his helmet with a intricate system of markings on what armor is traditionally used with knights but Grey Wardens come from all walks of life, Elf or Human, Rich or poor, it does not matter. His walked showed confidence but also remorse for something in his past. As soon as he walked up to Alistair, his voice was deep and contained a little bit of an accent "Here to report. I am at your command." he says in which Alistair grins "That is some nice manners but I am not here to lead anyone. I am merely here to observe and guide." he says in which the knight nods. The Knight's arms are typical of his class. A longsword that except for the handle looks like any other and a steel shield that appears to have once displayed a coat of arms but has long since been scratched out.

She has short white hair with dark red highlights. She dresses like the tomboy she is and her wild raising shows along with her playfulness more often then most would like. History: Lyali was born to a Dalish tribe that lives in the Korcari Wilds. Lyali's mom, Kynis, is the sister of her tribe's current leader. Her dad, Sizair, is a great hunter who like his wife thinks that the elves should team up with the humans and dwarfs to handle this problem. Because of this Lyali was sent to the nearest human settlement to find the Gray Wardens and to try to become a part of them. After finding them Lyali is very glad that her parents knew her well enough to suggest her to the group that will be getting most of the action. Pet(s): Deathbite(Marabi War hound)
Lyali smiled and walked over to Alistair. She is curious about the others in the group but figures that it would be best to focus on the mission.
Alistair smiles back "I'm glad to have you on the team. Now I can see for myself what skills impressed Duncan." he says looking at you then looks around "One, two, three, four, five, six..."he says quietly to himself as he points at everyone counting "...and ten. Good, you're all here. Now we can move on to our mission. Follow me into the Korcari Wilds please." he says and walks past the gates which the guard has just opened and the guard chuckles slightly "I'm glad it's not me going out there.." he says and the guard that was near him laughs "You're not good enough to be a Warden anyway..." he says which gets him a glare from the guard. The rest soon follow behind Alistair, the gate closing firm behind as you step past. This is finally it, by the end of the day you will be either dead or a Grey Warden and the day when you will first meet the Darkspawn in battle.

Alistair lead you and the rest of the group deep into the forests, no one speaking much as they were focused on the mission. It's when you get to a part where the forest seems to exit into a less dense area that he stops all of you "We deep in Darkspawn territory now so it's best I tell you what we're here for." he says softly "We here to gather vials of blood like Duncan said but our group's special mission is to retrieve ancient documents promising support for the Grey Wardens from other races in case of a blight. The tower is long since gone but the chest was magically sealed. Now let's go." he says and as you walk behind him a menacing growling is heard just before a pack of wild wolves come charging at you.

Lyali had her bow in hand during the walk so when the wolves came charging it only took her a second to fire an arrow. She hadn't aimed properly so she knew that she would likely hit a wolf but not the one she wanted or if she did she doubted that it would be enough to killed it. Because of this she pulled out another arrow and took proper aim at the closest wolf before firing again. She kept on doing this until all of the wolves were dead or one of them got close to her.

OOC: Oops, sorry I didn't see how the wolves were handled.
IC: Lyali had an arrow ready to fire, thanks to the fact that she had her bow in hand during the walk, but she didn't when she saw them leave. She then glanced at the only other rouge she had seen in the group. "Thanks." She said in both human and elfish for she wasn't sure which he understood.
The wolves growl a little more at the party before trodding off somewhere else. Alistair looks at Kiviord and nods "Now if you could do that to the Darkspawn we would golden." he jokes and starts walking again. It is mostly swampland in this part of the Korcari Wilds but a horrible stench blows through the air. The smell of blood because not much further up is an entire scouting force who are sliced open, guted, and torn apart except for one man who seems to be perfectly alright. It is the mysterious hooded man who Alistair spoke with last night. He seemed to be patching up the only survivor among the party. Alistair approaches him and looks down at the man who he is patching up "How many Darkspawn?" he asks directly and the mysterious man responds in a low voice "A small detachment off of the main group. Nothing too serious but it was more than enough for these men. This man here says they were ambushed by the entire group but it has since dispersed into smaller sections but they must have been careless to fall into the trap as bad as they did. I must return to King Cailain and Duncan however and cannot assist you. The Darkspawn's numbers have greatly grown to a worrisome state and I must get this to them." he says finally in a dire tone still stitching up the scout's wounds.

I say "no problem" to Lyali then call some birds put knives in their talons then tell them at my command bomb the darkspawn with the knives.
(it would be good to add a small amount of rpg elements for the battle parts) (i presume the birds know what the darkspawn would be)
(Yeah, I'm starting to see that it might be good update the character chart with extra places for items and such just for when there is fights and you should know that is not Darkspawn around just yet but they're literally coming up next)
