What if in Dragon Age Origins there was more than just one hero? The first battle against the Darkspawn was won and the king survived? This is all about new and different events that will cause a far different game.
You are one of many conscripted to undergo the rigorous trials of iniatoin into the ranks of the famous Grey Wardens as the threat of another Darkspawn invasion is imminent with the confirmation of a Archdemon made by the skilled and lucky scout, Reylan. His efforts allowed for the many races to prepare although the elves and dwarves believe that they will fare better to fight them on their own. King Cailan gathers his army with the new Grey Warden in hopes to quickly kill the Archdemon. Can you find glory in the midst of battle or will you fall as so many have before the evil Darkspawn?

There also may be a Darkspawn race when we get to the DLC parts and I am open for any suggestions but I am limiting the numbers of Grey Wardens to 10.
To Storm: The elven servants hastily prepare the soup. Putting in herbs and spices that they soldier's brought back from the wilds in hopes of getting a better meal. It isn't a lot though because of the taint of Darkspawn now spreading in that area. Once it's finished the elven servant girl approaches you and hands it to you "I hope you like it." She says before running back to the make-shift kitchen.
To thecode: A elven servant carrying a mug of mead walks up and places it in frog of you "Here you go, sir. Enjoy." Is all he says before walking away. Meanwhile, the Dwarf and his crew go back to singing. It's mainly him as the song is a ballad of the first victory against the darkspawn in the deep roads during the first blight.

Lyali thanks her for it and then sits in a lonely spot where she can still here the dwarf sing. As she eats the soup she appreciates the fact that the elves tried to flavor it. Once all of her bowl was gone she let Deathbite lick the bowl clean. After that she returned the bowl and let both the elves and the cook know that she liked the soup. She then headed back to her seat to finish listening to the dwarf.
The elves smile in happiness that the soup was good enough and go back to work immediately after short praise from the cook followed by him barking orders again. The Dwarf's song is quite catchy and it praises the bravery and sacrifice of a ancient legion of dwarves that gave their lives defending against the darkspawn in the first blight so that some Thaigs could evacuate. The song is a little longs with finally ending with the commander of the legion being the last one alive and taking down quite a lot of darkspawn while wounded until he bleed out. When it's finally over, the sun has set and torches began to light up. Alistair also walks into the scene and looks around a little before saying "So this is where you all are. If you've had quite enough to drink then head over to the Warden camp just west of here to catch some shut eye before your big day." he says before walking over to the mysterious man's table but does not sit down. You can obviously see him whispering to the man but the shrouded man does not raise his head. Instead he gets up and leaves, heading in the direction of the Korcari Wilds. Alistair also leaves, walking back to the Grey Warden camp.

I finish the rest of my food and head over to the camp, pull my hood up, wrap my cloak around me, find a comfy spot then head to sleep.

Once the song was over Lyali lead Deathbite to the kennels. There she wished both him and the kennels master a good night. She then went to the Gray Warden camp to get some sleep under the stars. A part of her wondered who that person was that Alistair sent to her homeland but it didn't keep her awake.
You hear the footsteps of the rest of the Grey Wardens and recruits as they enter the camp, some going into what tents there are and some sleeping out in the open. The nights goes peacefully by without interruption except the high-pitched bell that rings to announce it's time to wake and gear up for the mission that will determine if you are worthy enough to advance to the final trial and official iniation into the Grey Wardens. Alistair stands outside and it is he who is ringing the big yelling "Rise and shine everyone!" . Duncan is already awake and standing at the large unlit bon-fire that will most likely be used for the ceremonies to take place after the mission.

I get up pull my hood and cloak off, put on some gear i didn't sleep in, eat some cheese that was in my pack as well as a drink from my waterskin then run off to the large unlit bonfire to wait for the announcements.

Lyali woke up and put the leather armor she had laid next to her bed role on. After that she grabbed her two daggers from under her pillow and equipped them. She then rolled up her bed and strapped on a bow and quiver that sat next to her boots. The last thing she did was put the boots on and a pair of leather gloves that were long enough to protect her arms whenever she used her bow. I hope we aren't waking up this early just to head out. She thought and wondered if there was enough time for breakfast before the mission.
As soon as everyone was gathered around the un-lit bonfire, Duncan began "Today you are all going to head in the Korcari Wilds and since there a lot of you here you will be getting divided into separate teams of ten headed by one of the few Grey Wardens here. It suggest you eat nothing before heading out but if you are that hungry then go eat. Your mission once you get out there is to collect enough vials of Darkspawn blood for each of your team's member. You can only collect one vial of blood from each Darkspawn so you team needs to kill ten. I will now assign recruits to their Grey Wardens..." he says and name after name is called until "...Lyali Aleanathem report to Alistair, Kiviord you also will be reporting to Alistair..." he says and mentions more names before he finally says "The Danger out there is very real. This is no training mission. May the maker watch over you." he says finally, looking around at all the recruits then walks towards King Cailan's camp. The recruits disperse, either to go eat or talk with the Grey Warden they have been assigned to.

Lyali ignored the idea of food cause of the suggestion that Duncan made. Instead she decided to see Deathbite for one last time before joining her group.
To thecode: Alistair is standing near the gate to the Korcari Wilds with Splintmail armor that has the Grey Warden Griffon painted on the chest and in his hands are a basic steel Warden sword again the griffon etched into the pommel and a basic steel shield. He watches you as you walk over to him "You must be Kiviord. Well, might as well take a seat because we're missing three others yet." he says and standing around him are your teammates including the singing dwarf from earlier, the beautiful warmaiden, the mysterious mage, an female elven mage, the foreboding Dalish man, and a human rogue not to mention those that have not arrived yet.
To Storm: The Kennel Master smiles at you at you approach and Deathbite barks in happiness, twirling around in circles while wagging his tail "Today the big day I hear." He says friendly "I wish you luck, I have no doubt that you'll make it through." He says encouragingly.
