any tips would be very much apreciated... I'm not sure what language to start with I have done almost nothing with programing please... no mean posts or angry comments I'm just hoping to make some friends and learn a few thing thanks
Personally, I would choose Adobe (flash) Action script or JavaScript, those are what people use most often. Adobe costs a lot of money though, more than I would expect you to have. You have to remember, there are a lot of languages you can learn to program with.
Well, I wouldn't download anything if I where you. Because if you actually want to become a programmer then I suggest you wait and take a highschool programming course. This will open the door to may things, such as puny internet games, console games, and much more. And if you want to become an all-time-expert, it would be best for you to take a college course of the same criteria. But to start off simple and to get a hang for your whole new career, start small, use AdobeFlash CS3. Then look at the tutorial to better equip yourself to make better games.
Do you want to develop computer games without spending countless hours learning how to become a programmer? Then you've come to the right place. Game Maker allows you to make exciting computer games, without the need to write a single line of code. Making games with Game Maker is a lot of fun.
well drace actually while you can make games on game maker without programming. In order to make more complex games on it,it uses a programming language called gml code, which is taught in cst2 at my high school before they teach action script and then move on to C++.It is basic programming to say the least, but I would suggest a new programmer not try out C++ first,as it is quite an annoying language to learn as a rookie to programming, with no experience.Action Script can be used for web development or game development though so it can be pretty useful to know, although still if you don't have any money to get the program then it would be suggested that you try learning something else that you can use first. If you really want to get it though, try getting it as a holiday present if you can.The academicsuperstore.com website sells then for more then half of their original price to anyone who is in grade school or a higher education curriculum(AKA college) so that's another option.Just look at what you have available to you and keep in mind that programming is not going to be easy at first,so you will probably have to be quite determined to become good at it.That's all I can suggest to you and good luck.
