The software from Microsoft, SilverLight is a powerfull software for animation (just like flash). And with it can made any animation that Flash can. So, for games it's not so good, but i need your opinion.
Diver doesn't currently support "out of browser". It was developed using Silverlight 2, which doesn't support out of browser. Silverlight 3, which was recently released is the version that added "out of browser" support.
FYI, the game I'm working on now will have it's own online editor and the ability to record/playback levels.
Here is an early tech preview of the game. It's called Krashlander.
Doesn't really matter to me as long as it doesn't cost $700
Yeah but pivot doesn't cost anything either, it doesn't make it a better program.
Microsoft just want more dominance because it's really slowly losing the web with flash and firefox. So it make silverlight to bad flash is in like everything in the web and it works perfectly fine you can have like the oldest flash and it will still run perfectly fine and I don't forsee it becoming as popular and as good as flash.

Did I say better? I don't care how easy or better it is as long as it doesn't cost $700. I'm not exactly going into commercial programming -.-
Flash is very very very easy to use, and is Mac, PC and Linux friendly, so it's easier for it to be dominant.
It is very limited in its' ability to become ever expanding, due to only a select few who can actually produce it. Most people aren't going to use it for fun when they are going to pay an astronomical amount for it.
