Wondering if anyone can give me any advice as to how i could convert a game maker game into a flash game. If there is already a forum topic like this up then tell me where it is please before you lock it?
Not really. There are quite a number of good Game Maker games. And the main site's community is pretty active.
It doesn't matter how many people are GM website unless someone re-writes the whole engine to be much better then it will still produce at best below average to mediocre games. I've played around with GM and played some of the games and I have to say there aren't that many good ones and even if they are the only thing holding them back are the capabilities of GM itself.

While GM isn't that great of a tool, the people who make the games, generally make crappy ones. You can use GM to make great games. But mostly, people end up making mediocre ones with it.

There really are very few good gamemaker games. The only ones I can think of are iji and ad-nauseum and even those are only to the standard of an average flash game. Until recently gamemaker didn't even support anti-aliasing and is still lacking in major features compared to flash.
Wait what? I just converted a .jpg to .exe a few months ago.... used some app I got off a torrent. Somehow my computer stopped working after I did that.
Either I messed with some unwritten law of computers or I got a virus.
I think its more to do with that game maker is very easy to get started with.
Yeah. Flash isn't that easy to learn. GM is an easier way to enter the world of programming. Aw, I just realized that it was created in part to used for educational purposes.
