Hey, I really want to learn flash, is there any way I could learn without spending LOADS of money? Because I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for something I probably won't be good at.

haha yeah sure. As for the beta, I've got the co-artist testing it. And most of the bugs are worked out, just gotta do some graphics tweaks. Hopefully be out by May.

I've coded a few websites, does that count as experience to game-coding? Not like SERIOUS coding, but fairly advanced coding.

Depends on the language, I guess. If it's not AS3 then it won't help you with flash game programming that much.

If it uses JavaScript then it might a both AS3 and JS a Object-oriented.

But html won't. that's a markup language

It depends. Like Manny says, HTML is a markup language and honestly won't help much with programming languages. However, many programming languages (you may have used JS on your websites) share quite similar syntaxes. Not all functions have the same name but most languages will keep to the same kinda rules. Flash and Action Script are a bit odd but you should adjust to them fairly quickly.
