Nickname: The Duke(BOW reference ftw!)
Class: Rifleman.
Age: 21
Side: Allies
Country: Great Britain(I'd say America, but they didn't join until the Telegraph Incident, and that was when the war was pretty much over).
Weapons: Vickers Machine Gun, Trench Knife, 2 Mills Bomb Grenades,German Luger.
Armor: Uniform, Brodie Helmet, Combat Pack, Combat Boots, German Officer Hat.
Misc.: Radio, First Aid Kit, Gas Mask.
Health: 100/100

Bio: Lowell was the son of a wealthy and influential family. His uncle was a veteran of the second Boer War, and he gave Lowell a Colt Browning M1895 when he was twelve. Lowell practiced with the weapon until he got so good that his uncle gave Lowell a Remington 1900. After his uncle died, Lowell was raised with a good education and sent to Cambridge, where he earned a degree in foreign languages(German). He was exempt from the draft for academic reasons(and of course how influential his family was), but due to his uncle and the guns he'd gotten good at, Lowell requested to join. He was admitted, and then admitted into OCS. He was sent into combat with the rank of first lieutenant.

Well, the Vickers Machine Gun is water-cooled, which, despite what it may sound like, requires no cooling down. It cools down all on its own. So....

You have to change the barrel once every few hours or so.
Also; it's best if I actually had a team for the Vickers Machine Gun. A guy to help load it, and another(me) to fire it.

You fumble trying to get it out, and the German brings it down but you raise your arm and catch his arm while you grab your knife again and punch him in the face. He falls clutching his face screaming.

I disagree. If either of these two things are cut, you're dead in a matter of seconds.

The aortic valve.

First of all, blood does not only deliver the air. Second of all, exsanguination can occur based purely on the amount of blood lost(an irrecoverable amount, that is). If this is the case, you will die. So it really just depends on how quickly the blood comes pouring out of you, and if, for example, the aorta was stabbed, the answer is a lot of blood.

First of all, blood does not just deliver air. It delivers vital nutrients, immune cells, etc.
Second, exsanguination can be an extremely quick death if the correct organ is punctured. It really depends on how much blood you lose, and how much blood you lose depends on how much blood is flowing through that organ at that time. In the case of the aforementioned parts of the body, there is enough blood flowing through to cause exsanguination quickly.
Why do we always end up getting in scientific debates?
Just shoot the guy in the head, then.
