Join the German Luftwaffe or the British RAF in Battle of Britain! __________ Creator's note:
This is a European-based sequel(?) to my previous 2 RPGs of the same name. I have drastically changed the storyies, ideas, etc, and this is the improved version. I WILL NOT be testing out ideas, so treat this seriously! Also, please enjoy.
Thanks, Maverick4 __________ British Royal Airforce (RAF) Story:
The British Warmachine is in throes after the ingloriious rout at Dunkirt. Bruised and battered, but not beaten, you prepare for your new assignment: protect Britain from the inevitable assault that will surely come from the Kraut hordes. As leaflets of Hitlers 'Appeal to Reason' rain down, you are filled with a new resolve to win, at any and all cost.
German Luftwaffe Story:
Operation: SeaLion, the plan to invade the British Isles, is now in effect. Your mission? Destroy the RAF. The German Army has already sent it realing. In the words of The Fuhrer '...selected by the fates to deal the final blow to the structure which these men (Churchhill and CO.) have already set tottering...". End. Them. Now.
Both Sides:
Your goal throughout the entire campaign will be in the role as a fighter-pilot. For the RAF, this means defending their homeland. For teh Luftwaft, this includes destroying the RAF and protecting the Bombers from attack as they progress to London and other British Cities. __________ Registration
Sign-up is limited to FOUR PEOPLE! And try to balance it out to 2 Brits and 2 Germans; more balanced=more fun. ---------- Name: (I shouldn't have to explain this, I hope) Age: (19-24) Force: (RAF or Luftwaffe) Rank: Pilot (this will increase with kills) Plane: (see below) Lvl: 1 0/20 EXP HP: 30/30 Fuel Amount: 100/100 Armor: (see fuel) Fuel: (you have 7 points to spend on armor and speed. more armor means you take less damage, but can stay up less. RADAR: Your character can 'see' enemy planes and formations sooner.
Self-Sealing Fuel Tanks: If your fuel tanks are hight, less fuel will be lost.
Fisherman-Friend: If you go down, a friendly fisherman will be there to pick you up.
Exaust Covers: Your exaust pipes are covered, making you harder to see at night
Reflector Sight: Your guns are more accurate, due to your upgrade from the WWI-Era tube sight.
E-MARE-IH-CAN: Americans have come to help the war-effort: Your plane is repaired faster.
German Luftwaffe Perks:
Daschund-Belly: You have an extra fuel tank on your plane belly; your plane uses fuel more economically
Red-Cross Buoy: If you go down, a 'Swiss' AID buoy is always nearby.
Self-Sealing Fuel Tanks: If your fuel tanks are hit, you'll loose less fuel.
Londra: Italians have given you additional training; you do more damage.
Size DOES Matter: Luftwaffe's size is on your side: your plane is repaired faster.
Pure Race: Your eyesight is exceptionally good: your guns are more accurate. __________ A few notes:
1. There will always be one choice out of four or five in which you die or get wounded. If you happen to choose that one, don't worry, I'll give you the option to parachute out a total of 3 times. After that, it's game over. War is hell, and people die.
2. You may have noticed the Armor/Fuel tabs. These can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. More fuel means you can out run the enemy in dire situations, but more armor means you can take less damage. Play to your strengths, because the enemy plays to your weaknesses.
4. Remember that you are not limited to the choices I give you. There will almost always be an answer marked "Other," where you can do something different or even do two actions I've given you, provided they don't contradict. Surprise me with your tactical skill! If you are especially creative, you may be rewarded with a new weapon or even a perk. __________

Plane Weapons: (2).303 Browning Machine Guns Bio: Raised in an upper-class, influential family, drafted to the war. Sent to flight school after discovering he hated combat infantry and didn't want to be sent to the meat grinder in Europe on foot, so he had his family pull some strings and got in as a pilot.
D) Make your own option: Follow the Enemy Planes While Hidden. Deciding that he doesn't want to risk being unable to return to base, but also doesn't want to just fall back either, Cooper pulls back on the throttle and starts to follow the enemy planes while remaining concealed in cloud cover. Also; it's Hypermnestra. The "n" comes before the "e". "Hyper" is probably a lot easier and perfectly acceptable as well, so if you'd prefer, you can refer to me as that as well. Alternatively, you can also go by my character name, Cooper.

You signal to the Stukas of the threat, and they abort the mission. As they leave, their tail-gunners throw up a few shots at the Hurricane. Its out of range, and you can't tell if they hit it. You watch, and then fly into a cloud. Now your visibility is shot, and you don't know where the Hurricane is. Do you:
A) Look for the Hurricane B) Stay in the cloud for a while (-10 fuel) C) Head back to base (-50 fuel) D) Fly out of the cloud. __________ Name: Joseph S. The Stukas spot you as you fly into a cloud, and their tail-gunners open fire. Most of the shots miss, but a few hit, causing little damage (-3 HP). You fly into a cloudbank, and elude the Stukas. Now your visibility is gone, your in German airspace, and you don't know where the enemy is. Do you:
A) Fly back to base (-40 fuel) B) Stay in the cloud (-10 fuel) C) Fly out of the cloud D) Dive into the Stukas

Question: So, the Stukas have flown away, or are there any other airplanes in the area? If I'm not allowed to know that, that's fine too.

Fritz barely presses the throttle forward so the cockpit is just barely sticking out of the cloud, then looks for that Hurricane.

Char has detected none, so for all intensive purporpoises, there are no enemies in the area.

Your plane can't hover. Either it has to race out of the clouds, or I can allow you to plummet towards the waves, giving you the option to 'chute out, and you lose a life (you only have 3)
***And, you WILL face eachother from time to time. I won't let you guys kill eachother this soon, but it WILL happen, so heads up***

C) Fly out of the cloud Joseph flies out of the cloud to get a better look at the surrounding area...he carefully looks around to ascertain that there are no enemies around. He tries to conserve his fuel so he has more than enough to make it home. Also; can I change my perks after this? Like...not right now, but after this, like at base or something?

You have 3 perk slots, and one is currently empty. As you level up, more perks, weapons, stuff, is available to you. Includes better classes, with better/unique planes.

You ease the throttle, jimmy the stick, and pull out of the clouds. You begin to search the space below you, and see the group of Stukas heading toward Normandy. Suddenly, a 109e breaks from a cloudbank, begins to follow the Stukas. Do you: A) Dive after them (-3 fuel) B) Head back towards base (-40 fuel, wait 1 Day) C) Wait __________ Name: Fritz von Hasselhof Age: 19 Force: Luftwaffe Rank: Pilot Plane: Messerschmitt 109e Lvl: 1 0/20 EXP HP: 30/30 Fuel Amount: 60/100 Armor: 3 Fuel: 4 Perks: Self-Seal, Red Cross Plane Weapons: 2 MG-17 Bio: Son of a Famous Infantry Officer from WW1, at the bidding of his father he joined up with the Luftwaffe to follow in his father's footsteps to Glory
With a roar, you burst from the cloudbank. You move to overtake the Stukas, and provide them with cover. With the sun at your back, you begin to head back towards bast (-40 fuel). Do you:
A) Head back towards base and land (wait 1 Day AG) B) Run a patrol route (+10 fuel *you save this by switch course*) C) Ditch the stukas (+10 fuel *" "*)

C) Wait Knowing that it's nearly impossible for him to take on so many enemies at once(how many enemies are there, again?) Joseph decides to wait it out for a moment, but keeps the enemies in his sight. He attempts to establish a radio contact with his allies to let them know what's happening, and how the Stukas are headed toward Normandy. With any luck, his allies can overtake the Stukas before they reach Normandy, and between Cooper and his allies, a nice hammer-and-anvil effect will get started.

Fritz climbs to a similar altitude as the trip here, and we head back towards land.

You climb in altitude, and fly towards normandy. Soon the airstrip comes into view. Do you:
A) Land (refit and refuel, wait 1 Day real time) B) Head back towards the channel and try to find some RAF C) Run a patrol __________ Name: Joseph S. You begin circling, and try to establish radio contact with any near-by allies. Your radio remains silent, and you lose 10 fuel waiting for help. By now, the stukas have gone out of sight, no likely landed at their base and refueling for another attempt at the British Mainland. Your still in enemy flyspace, so do you:
A) Begin to head towards base (-40 fuel) B) Continue looking for the enemy C) Head towards the Normandy Coast (-30 fuel) D) Make your own option.
