in medieval times you are a general for hire, a mercenary who commands the troops to protect or defend, mainly castles, and do it for money you will face off against each other (PVP or solo however you choose) for money and fame
here is the sheet
Name: Age: Gender: Nationality: Coat of arms: what design does your men's armor wear and what design flag they bear (nothing stupid, something of the era) Bio: at least an 8 sentence paragraph, optional Perk i get from bio Physical Desc.: at least 3 things Personality: at least three things Bonus Perk: i get from both personality and desc. --------------------------------------------------------- Honor: 100 Army size: 5000 Troops: Armed peasants: 2000 Spearmen: 3000 Upgrades: none Money: 100000 Army status: good
now the only troops you have are the Armed Peasants: poor people conscripted wielding nothing but a pitchfork, they work best as fodder and a distraction and Spearmen: wielding nothing but a long spear and padded cloth armor and a coif they aren't the best troops but can get the job done. also they aren't the brightest men
Now what you can spend with money is on more troops and upgrades for them
honor is used to unlock better units you get it from winning battles

Alright. If I can, I buy the slinger unit and 500 slingers. Then I upgrade the spearmen with leather armor (If I understand you correctly, I can do that) and buy 2400 more spear men. I then use what ever money remains to buy 3000 peasants.
