I love writing Haikus. My best friend taught me how to write them. He said ' It's not that hard. All you have to do is learn.' So I did and I fell in love with them. Here's my first Haiku:
Clear like Crystals It is clear, you know that what some don't know, we do albeit, they will. 03/21/11
Depressing? dark is one thing but depressing? i personally cant go on forever portraying the brighter side of life, thats fine and dandy however, obviously, there's a darker side, that has to be seen aswell, pretty or not, pleasant or not, its all about balance.....

Fire is usually pronounced like fi-uhr or something, making fire a two syllable word, and the line a seven syllable line.
As you can see, it's very mixed whether people pronounce it as a one or two syllable word, so if the writer pronounces it as a two syllable word, I say let him.
