I love writing Haikus. My best friend taught me how to write them. He said ' It's not that hard. All you have to do is learn.' So I did and I fell in love with them. Here's my first Haiku:

Clear like Crystals
It is clear, you know
that what some don't know, we do
albeit, they will.

Tanks, Endscape! I love the way you balance out my haikus with your own. That's what makes this little thread go 'round!

Tears
They fall down slowly
unchecked, unnoticed, unseen
they'll find their place, soon

Continued flow of Tears

They'll find their place soon
When they rest upon my heart
And jump-start my love..

Oh, Endscape! I almost cried when I read your mirror of my last haiku!
It's so touching. Thank you!

Here's one for the hour!
Joy in Life
I'm glad I'm alive
it's good to be breathing life
I feel my soul move

Here's a sweet one for Endscape.

Endscape and all his sweet haikus
Here's my haiku thread
all are welcome, but one more so
Endscape brings the life!

The sea

The majestic waves
Slamming against the dead body
Washing it away.

And

The pit of fire

The hot lava pit
Burning away my troubles
They all become ash.

*claps her hands* Thank you, Endscape! I love your haikus! I don't know why. Maybe it's because of the -------- that flows out of each and every one. I can't find an appropriate word to describe it!

Thanks for your contributions, Deathopper. They are appreciated.

The grey life
These hairs on my head
will one day all turn to grey
and I'll be ancient

This is one I did for a history assignment:
Summer pond ripples,
The koi thinking itself tall,
On summerâs first day.

And here's a some new ones
Shrieks of howling wind,
Like the souls of warriors,
They still reside here.

Thunder storms shake house,
We lose our balance in fright,
Like cold ghosts, haunting.

Thanks for your contribution Koru7!

Water ripples
The wave keeps coming
trying to pull me under
but then, it just fades

Small Anger
Tiny fists of rage
miniature smiles of wrath
these small giants seethe

Ha, ha, are haikus all about balance?

Wintry curtain
The white curtain fell
one by one, the white flakes fell
but the faces rose

Miscellaneous

What oddities these
the constant drone of nonsense
incessant, random

Two by two they go
one up, one down, both forward
soon they'll reach the end

It should probably be 'But a child came to the lake'.
It works with when too. I like it better because it seems like an abrupt ending when someone's mad. lol

chimes rattle quiet
Wind is a tiny whisper
like secret gossip
