This is basically the same game as the one that has been running for quite a while, but it will be all official material, no house rules or non-rulebook sources of any kind, and I may enforce mandatory characters if things get too far out of hand (TRF has said that things were getting carried away in the other game). I also want chracter and OOC dialouge to be better managed, in other words don't fill this game up with a bunch of meaningless chatter (If all you want to do is talk about something, do it in the other game). New players are always welcome, and in fact encouraged, even if you don't own any of the books or know any of the rules. If any new players want to join, see the other game for rules, give me a race and class, and I will take care of the rest. As soon as at least 4 characters are made, this game will begin. The module I am using is a DCC, known as "The Black Pearl" (and I don't mean the ship from Pirates of the Caribbean)

I lost my module... again. I can't believe this has happened to me twice! I've also been planning for a game irl, and my internet has been sucking so bad lately probably because of all the nasty weather, I'm dropping as DM. I might play in a game or 2, but I just can't do anything consistently with my internet constantly failing. In September (provided everything works out), I will most definitely have access to good internet. (I plan on moving to Albuquerque, and already have an internet plan lined up as soon as I move) If you want to keep this game going, we need a replacement DM, and I would prefer either Dragon or SirNoobs. Otherwise, we can leave this game until September, so, all in favor of keeping the game going? All opposed? All withstanding? (we just let the game drop, and forget it completely)

I vote for the last option.

If I can get Thor and DBS to help me out, I might try my hand at DMing.

My facebook seems to work no matter how much my internet sucks, so if you wanted, we could message each other on facebook. Otherwise, I'll talk to TRF, and have him send you messages from me. (his internet is ALWAYS working) At the very least, TRF and DBS could help you...

Thanks. I'll try to do my best, but I am a noob, after all.

I beg to differ Dragon, you're actually a pretty good player and I would really like to see how you do as a DM. There is a good bit more work to do compared to being a player, but I've been a DM for about 6 years, and I enjoy running the game much more than playing a character in the game.

Still, I am still quite unfamiliar with the game itself, so don't expect me to be great off the bat.

Hey, my first attempt at Dming was when I was like 7, and I S-U-C-K-E-D! It's always hard at first, but once you find your "groove", it gets easier. Just remember, Balance! You're not trying to kill the chaacters, you're trying to challenge them, and if they happen to die because of bad luck or a stupid mistake, well, **** happens. That is the most important rule of being a good Game Master, so remember, BALANCE!

Alright, OP v2.

Good party, first level. I only have this but I am willing to allow anything within reason if you ask first. That includes races, classes, Feats and gear. Your character will start off with an Adventurer's kit and 300 gp worth of gear. Any gp you don't spend on gear is kept. I will add a couple of common sense rules like if you are holding a dagger to somebody's throat, you don't have to roll to see if it hits when you decide to kill them. I am pretty open for suggestions.
