Okay, so, apparently TRF wants to lose the old thread until such time as Dibs sees fit to return. So, as per his request, I have made a new thread. I, of course, don't see exactly why this is necessary, but I suppose it won't hurt anything to accommodate Turf. So, I guess this will just be a continuation of the prior thread with the old characters and we'll pick up where Dibs left off. I suggested that Noob DM this one, but being that he doesn't have any of the source material beyond what's on the internet, he declined. That being the case, if there are no objections, I guess I will be DMing this one. I won't have access to my books myself for another week or two, so if it's okay, I guess I'll be using a homemade campaign. And as far as the campaign goes, expect to see a lot of stuff that's not exactly D&D canon, because, as I said, I don't have my sourcebooks right now. Unless, of course, someone else wants to DM, in which case, I'd be more than happy to step aside. Unfortunately, I do not think that this game will be accepting any more players. This thread is here for the sole purpose of reducing clutter in the other. It will actually be a lot easier - it was getting to be a pain, navigating that other one with all the pages it had(we were almost at 4,000!). To start off, I'm going to request that we all post our sheets(I'll track mine down later) and if there is anyone who would like to DM or has any requests to that effect or which concern the next campaign, speak now or forever hold your peace. Cheers.
****! Forgot to convert the armor. Plate Mail doesn't exist in 3.5, so we'll say it's banded mail with armor spikes. The shield also has spikes.
Can Bel wear the Gauntlets and boots from the Plate Mail?
If you're gonna wear the armor, you have to wear the full set for it to make any difference. However, if he needs gloves and boots, he could scavenge it off one of the dead bodies with leather armor.
Sure, but it won't have any effect and since you're already wearing studded armor, you already have gloves and boots.
Once done looting, he lays their bodies on the side of the road, closes any eyes that are open and covers their wounds.
He drags the corpses to the side of the road, covers their injuries(although he can't stop the blood from soaking through the cloth he covers the wounds with) and shuts their eyes. And what exactly are you taking off the dead bodies? I assume Mordemar, what all else?
Yup, yo Hyper mind giving us a total of what the loot is worth.
Well, on the regular equipment(non magical) you have a pretty good idea of the value. 53 total for the weapons: 10 each for the shortswords, 10 for the halberd, 8 for the morningstar, and 15 for the longsword. 450 total for the armor: 300 for the banded mail w/spikes, 70 for the heavy steel shield w/spikes, 10 each for the 8 leather armors. As for Mordemar, it's a magic and unique item, you need to get it appraised.
So, the party moves on and Bel has all of the loot.
I'll have to check, but I think it's a little too much for him to be lugging around.
You continue on your way undisturbed for the rest of the day, and make fairly good progress. As night falls, you see a suitable place to camp for the night, just in a clearing just off the South Road. If you do camp for the night, I'll need to know if you're posting a sentry, if so, who, etc. Rafel has a tent that can hold two people, and it won't take long for you to set it up.
