Europa Universalis FGR
A forum game remake about Europa Universalis... I had a better remake but all the files were lost, so I made a new one. The map took a few days to make, I started blank, only with provinces though. I look at it and see that it is not historically accurate, but whatever. If you want to know more about Europa Universalis, look it up. This post will probably be large.

----------------------------------------------------------
A Short on Wars

Casus Belli: To start a war, you may need a casus belli, a valid reason for war. Declaring war without one will gain you mass negative infamy, some stability drop, and a few more bad things.

Peace Treaties: Peace treaties can end anyway they like, either white peace (which means nothing will happen in the peace treaty and the war will end) or they can end in total defeat and ceding of territory. As long every participating country agrees, the peace treaty can be passed.

------------------------------------------------------------

Type: What the army is composed of. (Artillery, Musket Men, etc.)
Attack: Offensive abilities.
Defense: Defensive abilities.
Maneuver: Moving abilities.
Organization: How well organized the army is and how well they follow orders.
Morale: Higher morale means chance of surrendering is low, lower morale means chance of surrendering is high.
Exhaustion: How exhausted the army is, too high exhaustion can kill or slow down armies greatly. Exhaustion lowers by resting.
------------------------------------------------------------

I hope the map isn't too big or small.

The prospectors are sent into the mountains. They might die of attrition but they still go. The 2nd and 4th armies march into Algeria. You don't seem to get much resistance, and before you know it you reach the capital. But already, the men are getting exhausted by the desert heat.

The armies are allowed to recuperate while spies are sent into the capital to investigate this strange lack of resistance. They encircle the city and lay siege to it.

I also offer to buy the Musket technology from Italy for 4000 pounds.

the 1st clCavalry invades northern Aragon and immediately secures the border with France. Workers are sent in to build forts along the French border while the 1st Cav pushes South rapidly. The 3rd Army, supported by the Portuguese army, attacks Southwestern Aragon and pushes Northeastward in a pincer tactic with the northern attack.

I send an offer of amicable annexation to Greece.

I send an offer of amicable annexation to Slovenia.

I call a delegation of all nations represented in this conflict in Constantinople (Britain, France, Denmark, and Sweden, I believe). Heres what I suggest as the new territories: I get the European part of the Ottoman Empire, and Wallachia. Sweden gets the Asia Minor part of the Ottoman Empire. France gets the Holyland and Northern Egypt. Denmark gets the Sanai Penisula and Egyptian Territory in the Arabian Penisula. Britain gets the rest of Egypt.

I raise 15,000 Gunners, and put them into the 3rd Musketeers.

I move 350 swordsmen from the Eastern Guards, and put them into the Western Guards. I then raise 7,650 Swordsmen, and put them into the Western Guards.

I order the building of 50 Cannon Ships.

I order the 25 Caravels to head west, leave the Mediterranean, and then go south around the tip of Africa.

I order a line of Forts to be built along the French-Italy border.

Status of the Artillery?

They siege the city, but not there doesn't seem to be much resistance there either, other than civilians. They take control of the city, raising your flag on top of every major building. Your 1st and 3rd armies move onto Aragon.

Yes. Greece accepts annexation. Slovenia doesn't exist in this game. The territories are arranged. You get 15,000 gunners recruited into the 3rd musketeers. You also get the swordsmen into the Western Guards. The Cannon ships begin building. The Caravels move outside the Mediterranean and sail south to Africa. They might die. The forts are under construction. The artillery army is done, and so are the transport ships. Are the territories the way you want it?

A small force of 2,000 Pistolmen is left to hold tue Algerian capital while the rest of the invasion force pushes westward to conquer the rest of Algeria.

The 1st and 3rd continue the invasion of Aragon, and I'll request purchasing the musket from Italy for 4000 Pounds.

Scouts are sent across the Sahara to recon any people that may be there.

Research continues on using gunpowder in ships, improving the Caravel and improved Flintlocks and gunpowder weapons.

Also build a large Naval base rigt next to the Strait of Gibraltar and build 120 Caravels to form the 1st Navy "Sea Barons".

Those are perfect m8.

I decree the Milanese Code effective in all new territories.

So whats the brown blemish amid the sea of purple? Slovenia? Slovakia? Whoever, I send them an offer of amicable annexation.

I counter offer Castille: Some Pistols, and an Alliance.

I ask France if they are willing to sell Corsica(?), that little blue island above Sardinia.

I order the construction of a large Naval Base on Sicily.

I order that all Musketeer units are armed with the new Double Barrel Musket.

I order half my researchers to find ways to improove the cannon. The other half I order a way to improove my horsemen.

When my caravels can go no further, I order them to land on the coast and establish a colony, leave some men to hold it, and then return.

I send an envoy to Russia, asking if they need assistance against Lithuania.

I order that my Grenadiers and 1st Musketeers undergo training in order to be better prepared to fight in the desert.

The Georgians agree, adding that they would rather get annexed by you than get destroyed by the Timurids. The Knights and Russia are already assaulting and moving in towards the capital. It won't be long until they defeat Lithuania. Catapults? You recruit 8,000 men into the Imperial Army, while also training them. Their offensive skills increase, and so does their maneuver.

The scouts are sent across the Sahara. They might die. You begin building a naval base and the 120 caravels. For the muskets, Italy will want pistols and an alliance.

That's Bosnia. They accept annexation. France is willing to sell the island, if they get some of western Italy (to create the modern day French borders.) It will take no pounds, just a trade. You begin building the naval base on Sicily. All of your musketeers are now armed with the new double barrel musket. Your researchers get to work on improving cannons and horsemen. Your caravels travel south and stop in Western Africa. They establish a colony just south of Mali. Russia does not need help. The Grenadiers and Musketeers go through tough training, making it harder for them to die of attrition.

What was the war with the Egyptians and the Ottoman Empire, and when was it? I guess it should be added to the wars I've won.

I decline France's offer.

I spend some of my money to create an up-to-date road system among my empire, in order to allow trade to flourish and to allow easier movement of supplies and military troops.

I ask for the Pope's blessing to invade Tripoli, in order to spread Catholicism.

I send an offer of amicable annexation to Bohemia.

I declare Laissez-Faire Economics in my Nation in an attempt to boost the economy.

I issue a decree, asking for volunteers to go to the new colony in Africa. I call 20 Caravels, in order to transport these new colonist. The other 5 Caravels are to remain in defense of the colony.

I declare my new Capital to be Rome. I invest money in it to revamp it, and make it the most spectacular city in all of Europe.

Status of Forts? Status of Cannon Ships?
