This RPG will come with very challenging obstacles, given the name Hardcore. You will face dangerous zombies, and friendly OR hostile survivors. You must be careful in this world, because if you become infected, there is little hope for you.

*Friendly/Hostile affects whether or not other survivors will assist you, or decide to attack you, or rob you depending on the choices you have made in your journey.
* Strength affects how much damage you deal in close combat, and how much you can carry in your inventory.
*Marksmanship determines how accurate you are with your gun.
*Agility determines how fast you are to dodge enemy attacks in close range or long range and affects how long your survivor can fight without being exhausted.
*Endurance determines how long you can travel in one day before you become tired and sleep.
*Vitality determines how much HP your survivor may have. (Each time leveled up, raises HP by 15 pts.)
* Intellect determines how well you can hack into a computers recent logs, and how well you can hack into a security building. (Security buildings will most likely have ammo, weapons, food, water, and a place to rest, but it won't last forever, so don't plan on staying long)
*Luck affects your chances of CRITICAL hits, and (luckily) DODGING attacks, and if you get a (lucky) Escape.
*You must EAT, DRINK, and SLEEP in Hardcore Survival, so make the most of your rations, and decide whether you want to survive and travel alone, or if you want to gang up with other survivors you meet along the way.
CHOOSE YOUR ATTRIBUTES You may have 10 pts. to put into your skills, so choose wisely. All skills start out with 3 pts.
LISTEN CAREFULLY: Everyone will have a COMPLETELY different story line, each with different encounters, and a story that has happened to your survivor in the past. ALWAYS try to find a safe house to stay and rest or sleep in, and if you want to stay COMPLETELY safe, barricade the doors with anything you can find. I tell Dale "It's a risk we gotta take. We need food, backpacks and water! We'll never survive if we don't have any of these." I promised the friends that I would guard them while they go up the ladder, and on the inside.

You wake up in a dumpster. Who the hell put you there? As you climb out, you try to remember what happened. You remember driving on the highway in your baby blue Prius, and stopping at a McDonalds to get some food. Then, suddenly, some crazy woman flailed her arms and ran in front of your car, causing blindness to you and making you swerve into a remarkably sturdy dumpster, and flew you out of the windshield, into the dumpster. Hmm. Interesting.
You are outside the McDonalds. The place looks deserted, like a ghost town, but you see two figures through the glass door, but they look a little drunk because of the way they are walking.

As your two friends ascend the ladder, Dale accidentally breaks it right in half.
"What the hell was that?!" Yells Caitlin.
"Sorry Perry!" Says Dale.
The ladder is now broken and there is no way to get on top of the roof and you are separated from your fellow survivors.

I think for a moment. "Hand me a gun. We'll do the best we can, but in case we don't make it, I'll make sure Eric doesn't have to become a zombie." I have us rush as fast as we can, and if Eric doesn't make it, just before he starts to turn, I shoot him in the head.
You enter through the door, silently. You sneak up on a zombie and bash his head in with a crowbar. The other 5 zombies notice and run after you. You swing and hack at the zombies, killing two more. The remaining 3 zombies reduce the distance between you, cornering you. A zombie bites your arm, as another claws at your torso. -75HP+INFECTION Behind, Dale grabs a zombie and tears it off of you. Dale and Caitlin then rip another zombie off of you, but you are still being clawed by the last zombie. Dale and Caitlin stomp wildly on the zombies heads, killing them both. You again get clawed by the last zombie, as Dale finally pulls it off, and stabs it with a large pocket knife he had just found on the front desk beside the cash register. -15HP
Dale says,"Perry... what were you thinking?!" Caitlin observes your battle wounds. "We need to get you some help."

As you floor the gas pedal, adrenaline fills your body once again, giving you the hope that Eric will make it.
Behind you, Kelsey says "Eric. Eric! John! Help Eric! Is he...?"
You look at the rear-view mirror, watching John check for Erics pulse.
"He doesn't have a pulse. I think he is dead..." replies John. "He was a coward anyways..."
"John!" Yells Kelsey. "He didn't deserve to die like that. Even if he is a coward."
You slowly hit the breaks, finally making a complete stop. You get your 9mm pistol out, turn around, and fire at Erics forehead.
"Bro, what the hell! You got blood in the car!" Says John.
I hand my crowbar to Dale and the screwdriver to Caitlin. I tell them that if it's too late, then to kill me. We head for the nearest hospital. "I need medical help." I say.

"John, he wasn't the bravest guy, but he did help us. If he didn't hand me that machete, I would've been dead. I had to kill him now for his own good, or he would've turned into one of them. Let's head to the hospital anyway. Maybe we can get supplies or something there."
