I use massive tunneling drills to dig tunnels under the town, then collapse them.
Unfortunately Epicness01 had a much bigger nuke then you thought and the tunnels collapsed in on you trapping you there for the remainder of the next city.

I get a force of 3000 men and get them to defend the perimeter of the city. I then get in an Apache helicopter and fly in circles around the skyline, defending from above.
