@Evilfishy To answer your question, BanHammers are what the Moderators hit you with if you do something to get yourself banned. They are also used for destroying spam, locking/deleting spammish, necro, or inappropriate threads, and generally smiting those who need it. And yes, I meant you. ______________
And this thread is gonna get the BanHammer if you all don't stop making micro word burps. Let's use this game to raise spam awareness by demonstrating that there can still be intelligent thought posted even in games and the like. It's critical that such a trend of posts with actual thought be started and maintained, or else increasing numbers of people will begin to follow the crowd and slack off when posting, which would eventually cause the internet to be fully flooded with that hated and accursed vileness called spam. Let's make a point of setting a good example here. Make reasonably sized posts with actual topic and meaning that have had thought put into them. Don't just belch little blobs of word-spittle like too many people do - Write High Intelligence Posts, and we can WHIP spam!
I want to have a deep discussion about gaming. Gaming is my passion, and I want to know what a few people on the forums think about games they play. And nok this doesn't belong in a different forum, because I am still playing the game. 151.
How many people are interested in survival games? I personally love surival games, where you have to gather supplies, like food, water, and finding safe places to live. Basically, I'm talking about Fallout games. I love Bethesda's ideas that they put in the games. Thoughts? Opinions?
You know, the content of the posts in this thread still do not constitute "discussion", nor is the "discussion" relevant to the premise of the thread. Therefore you could say that all discussion on this thread is "off-topic", which basically means that the topic itself should never have been created.
In fact, the thread itself is very similar to "count to 100" seeing as the number of boys on this thread vastly outnumber the girls on this thread in the order of hundreds. So I ask myself, is there really any point in this thread continuing as it is?
Anyway, I don't like depriving people of their sense of achievement by canning threads prematurely, though technically I ought to have locked it after this post. Can somebody inform me when you guys reach 200 so I can then lock it? kthnx.
And shouldn't there be a rule like you can only post up to twice on every page to be fair? Boys are only winning becuase they post more often than girls.
@ Strop If your sole premise is whether or not the discussion matches the OP, then you probably shouldn't see Cenere's thread "Super Cool And Awesome Bunnies!" over in the Tavern. While mismatched topic/talk can be a breeding pit for spam and other nasties, in some cases it can become quite interesting. I can't speak for others here, but I at least tried to salvage something intelligent out of this thread before by starting an anti-spam discussion.

I agree with Strop and Daizidawizard - let's get this to 200 (or 0, if there's suddenly a tidal wave of female users) so that it can be laid to rest.

@CP-I'm not 100% sure we can completely "WHIP spam". It'll just keep popping back up. Again. And again. AND AGAIN! There is no permanent solution, but as long as we keep it to a minimum, we can try to contain it and, indeed, eventually, "WHIP" it. Oh, and, btw, 154.
