I have had this idea for a while now, namely to have a mock government on AG. On this thread, players will propose, debate, and ultimately vote on resolutions put forth by other members of the "Congress." I need 12 members to start, and the number will be allowed to increase by a 2/3 majority of the current government. I will be the Chair for this government. All actions done in this game shall follow Robert's Rules of Order.
If you wish to play, just call "resent." I will close the roll after 12 users sign up, and then proposition of resolutions may commence.

I am now posting all of the rules for this assembly:
1) Robert's Rules of Order are the basic guidelines for this Assembly 2) Robert's Rules of Order will not be suspended even with unanimous vote 3) Should you like to speak, you shall notify the Chair by stating, "Mr. President, permission to have the floor." 4) There are no limits on to how long a speech may be in this Assembly, unless a word-limit is set by a 2/3 majority 5) Should a member of the Assembly wish to withdraw from this Assembly, he or she will submit a letter of resignation to the Chair, which will then be accepted once a replacement member is found. Should no replacement member be found within 5 days, the letter shall go through, and the member will have resigned 6) Any resolutions passed here DO NOT have any real effect on Armor Games, as this is not an elected assembly, and has no power granted by Moderators or Administrators. 7) All speeches must be respectful to other users, and be relevant to the topic at hand. A member of the Assembly may protest the content of the speech to the Chair, and a ruling will be made. Should the speech be found out of order, the following options will take place, with the Chair determining which options will be chosen: a) The "speaker" will be reprimanded b) The speech may be removed by a mod c) The "speaker" could be barred from speaking for a session 8) Once a resolution has been proposed, debates shall occur for one week, or until a 24 hour hiatus has occurred, whichever happens first. Voting shall commence after debates have finished, all points of informations has been settled, and question and answer has been finished. Voting shall last another week, and will be stopped when: a) A majority for either "yea" or "nay" has been reached; b) A motion to withdraw voting and return to debate has been passed by 2/3 majority c) A week has passed, and a quorum has not yet voted 9) A quorum shall consist of 2/3 of the members of this Assembly
Alright, due to the fact that a quorum of the desired Assembly has volunteered, I am going to put forth the motion that we start out orders of business.
Current vote as it stands is 3 votes "aye," 1 vote "nay." Three more votes are needed for "aye" for the measure to pass, or one more member must join this Assembly. Should that happen, voting shall end immediately, and we shall commence business.
